Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Adrian Peterson
#3 Ranked RB
His groin had been bothering him last week and it showed. He only scored 6 last week, but nonetheless you don’t bench your stars and AP is a star. With that said, you can and should bench them if they are hurt, so keep an eye on how Peterson’s groin is doing before you commit to him in your line-up. If he is okay, play him as he will be up against a very average DEF.
Gut Calls
Jarius Wright
#64 Ranked WR
We aren’t saying start him, but we will admit that we are intrigued. He is the first Vikings WR to be a top WR in any week thus far and he didn’t seem fazed by the swapping in and out of different QBs. He not only had 69 yards but he also scored 2 TDs last week. The Packers have a pretty terrible secondary so you never know. Wouldn’t be the worst gamble you ever made.
John Carlson
#22 Ranked TE
This is kind of an odd ball one, but he scored 15 points 2 weeks ago and 6 points last week. While the Vikings WRs have been pretty horrendous this season, perhaps the Vikings QBs will be a bit more comfortable throwing to the big guy up the middle. John Carlson has started in place of Kyle Rudolph the past 2 weeks has done pretty well, so check your current TEs match-ups out and, if it isn’t a favorable matchup, this one could be (the Packers give up a good amount of points to opposing TEs).
Bench Warmers
Vikings QBs
Leslie Frazier, the Minnesota Vikings coach, hasn’t named his starter for Week 12, this is never good news for fantasy owners. Now, if you own any of the Vikings QBs, we have a problem on our hands (as you clearly haven’t been listening to our show), but if you do, do not play any of them.
Each week the ladies of Her Fantasy Football provide written fantasy analysis and commentary on our brother site, www.Cover32.com.
