Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

Torrey Smith

#15 Ranked WR

Smith caught one pass for 11 yards and a two-point conversion for a whopping 3.10 fantasy points. Here is the good news, Smith scored three TDs in the last five weeks and Detroit gives up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing WRs. Smith is a top 20 WR and a Must Start. Marlon Brown also might not be a bad Flex player this week. Brown had 92 yards receiving and a TD last week. There might be plenty to go around on Detroit’s secondary.

Gut Calls

Dennis Pitta

#9 Ranked TE

Pitta is back and making a splash in the Baltimore offense after an injury and surgery in preseason. He caught six passes for 48 yards and a TD. Detroit hasn’t gone up against a good TE since the beginning of the season and Pitta is fresh. Flacco likes having him back in the line up so Pitta might not be a bad play to finish your season if you were one of the owners who lost Gronkowski. He is only owned in 13% of leagues so get him if you can.

Ray Rice

#39 Ranked RB

Rice is going in the right direction with fantasy points and with the crazy weather conditions last week 10.90 fantasy points is nothing to be upset about. Detroit is much tougher against the rush then they are against the pass. Rice is a very low end RB2 this week. We don’t feel confident in his ability to be a big part of Baltimore’s offense.

Bench Warmers

Joe Flacco

#18 Ranked QB

Well, Flacco got you 20 fantasy points last week. More then Newton, Romo, RG3, Kaepernick, Rivers, and Foles. Not a bad start if you listened to us. Sure he had just as many INTs as TDs but he still got you 20 fantasy points. This is not a great start like last week. The Lions give up the 17th most fantasy points to QBs unlike the Vikings who give up the 4th. Hopefully your starter QB has a better matchup this week.
