Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-10 at St. Louis Rams 6-8
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Bobby Rainey
#30 Ranked RB
Rainey was not good last week, to say the least. He only rushed for 27 yards on 11 carries against San Francisco. Tampa Bay gave up on the run early under the pressure of a point deficit, and we told you it was a bad match up. However, this week they go up against St Louis. The Rams give up the 5th most fantasy points to opposing RBs so this should be a better week. He’s inconsistent, but the match-up is right.
Other Studs: Vincent Jackson (WR) #12 – he should play, but he was limited in practice on Wednesday
Gut Calls
Tim Wright
#16 Ranked TE
Wright is the definition of “boom or bust.” Last week he caught seven passes for 82 yards and one TD. Other weeks he’ll catch one ball for 13 yards. St Louis gives up the 4th fewest fantasy points to opposing TEs, so this isn’t the best matchup for those with high hopes.
Bench Warmers
Mike Glennon
#28 Ranked QB
You wouldn’t dream of starting him. You shouldn’t. He’s at St Louis this week and then at New Orleans next week, but we like this guy for next year. If you’re on a dynasty league, we think a full off-season as the starter and a full year of play under his belt will make Glennon a contender in the “middle of the pack” set of QBs. Think Ryan Tannehill or Alex Smith kind of numbers.
