Well, Rex Ryan wanted to stress how difficult the cut was to make, but cut RB Fred Jackson he did. This decision is not much of a surprise, however, with the team trending cheaper and younger. Jackson was simply too old and too highly paid to stay with the team. Jackson still has a little gas left in the tank, though, and we look forward to seeing him in another role on another NFL team. We’re more than a little sentimental about the numerous streamroller fantasy season he’s produced for us in the past.
