Her Fantasy Football was founded in 2013 by three sisters who love football. After years of creating our own spreadsheets and debating fantasy stats at family functions we thought it would be fun to start a podcast to share our passion and viewpoints.
Her Fantasy Football is made up of all women, but we do not represent ALL WOMEN. That is impossible. This isn’t a fantasy podcast only for women, but it is by women. There is a difference.
However, we did start our show because we thought it was important to have a place where women spoke with other women about sports.
Here are some stats for you:
- Women make up 50.79% of the U.S. population.
- Women make up 45% of the NFL viewing audience.
- Women make up 34% of season-long fantasy football players.
- Women make up 5% of daily fantasy football players.
- Women make up 22% of all podcast hosts (no matter the genre), up from 11% in 2013.
Our podcast is fun and informative. If you want dry, this isn’t going to be your cup of tea. That doesn’t mean we don’t know what we’re talking about or that we haven’t done our research. Each of our shows have 20+ page outlines filled with stats.
But frankly, we also play fantasy football because it is fun. So we have fun on our show and we would love for you to join us.
Our audience is about 50/50 male and female, but 100% want to win their fantasy championship. We try really, really hard to answer all of the questions that our listeners pose on Twitter and at the end of the day, we love what we do.
Brandon Marianne Lee (oldest) lives in New York City, is a radio host on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, writes for Pro Football Focus, is the co-founder of Her Fantasy Football and is a playwright/theatre nerd. Follow her @BrandonHerFFB
Ashley Williams (middle kid) lives in Downtown Denver and is a business executive by day and a gritty fantasy analyst by night. She edits and produces the show as well as provides biting commentary. With her “Barry White lite” voice, she can be heard each week irritating Seattle Seahawks fans everywhere despite grudgingly admitting they are growing on her. Follow her @AshleyHerFFB
Courtney Kirby (the baby) is a stay-at-home mom/entrepreneur. Also residing in Denver, she’s the host of our podcast and tries to keep us under time while providing in-depth analysis. The ultimate sign of disrespect is when Courtney mispronounces your name. On purpose. Follow her @CourtneyHerFFB
