We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good match up for one of your questionable players. Let the fun...

Week 16 – Houston Texans Fantasy Forecast

Houston Texans (7-7) vs Baltimore Ravens (9-5)   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Arian Foster–  If he steps on the field, you play him…period.   Gut Calls Texans Defense–  The Texans do not have a great match up this week against the Baltimore Ravens who have given up the 3rd fewest points to defense this year. You have been warned. With that said, it is the freakin’ Texans defense who has been tearing it up and was still able to get 15 points against Andrew Luck and the Colts. It’s hard to bench these guys.   DeAndre Hopkins– There are a few things not working in DeAndre Hopkins favor. First, Hopkins has a hurt ankle that you will need to check up on before thinking about playing him. He did not practice on Wednesday so keep that in mind as well. Not time to freak out per se, but check in. Secondly, Ryan Fitzpatrick broke his leg and is out for the season meaning that he is now on his third quarterback of the season in either Thad Lewis or Case Keenum. That has yet to be decided either. Either way I don’t love the security of this situation for you.     Bench Warmers Andre Johnson– He has been too hold and cold all season long for you to even think about playing him in a quarterback toss up and he suffered a concussion last week. He practiced on Wednesday which his good and his status could be bumped up to a slightly nicer category if Hopkins doesn’t play. The Ravens do after all give up the very...

Week 16 Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Forecast

Baltimore Ravens 9-5 at Houston Texans 7-7   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Justin Forsett – #10 Ranked Running Back Forsett had his worse game last week this season with only 4 fantasy points. This week is another tough matchup for Forsett. His previously injured ankle is off the injury report. He should be ready to play in full and want a comeback game against Houston.   Torrey Smith – #30 Ranked Quarterback This is a scary play in playoffs when Torrey had two catches for 16 yards last week, but I think he is feeling better and should be a Must Start against the weak Texans. He has been taken off the injury report. I think he will be much more then just a decoy. Smith will find the end zone today.   Baltimore’s Defense – #8 Ranked Defense Baltimore’s Defense has been on fire lately. They had 8 sacks, 1 interception and a touchdown last week while only giving up 12 points to Jacksonville. Houston is usually not nice to Defenses but with their Quarterback out it is time for the Ravens to become the destroyers of Week 16.   Justin Tucker – #6 Ranked Kicker Tucker hasn’t been needed as much the last two weeks, but I think that will change this week. He is the 7th highest fantasy scorer this year.   Gut Calls   Steve Smith Sr. – #32 Ranked Quarterback Smith Sr. is a very hot and cold player but this is the week he is supposed to be hot. It is a nice matchup as well. Houston gives up the 3rd most...

Week 14 – Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Forecast

Baltimore Ravens 7-5 at Miami Dolphins 7-5     Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Justin Forsett – #10 Ranked Running Back Forsett is listed as Questionable but is expected to start on Sunday. He has been killing it and is a Must Start every week. He has carried the ball over 20 times the last three weeks. With that many carries, he is sure to get you enough fantasy points to help your fantasy teams.   Torrey Smith – #20 Ranked Wide Receiver Torrey is listed as Probable (knee) for Sunday but looks to be resting for Sunday. He found the end zone twice last week and had 65 yards. Miami is no joke but Torrey has been hot since a slow start of the season. I think he will find the end zone.   Baltimore Ravens – #10 Ranked Defense The Ravens Defense has been pretty consistent. They are tied for 10th in fantasy points. Miami is a beatable team and they should be able to get to Tannihill a few times.   Gut Calls   Steve Smith Sr. – #39 Ranked Wide Receiver He has his ups and downs but if Torrey is limited then Triple S will need to step it up and you know that he is up for the challenge. He did only have one reception for 2 yards last week coming off an 89 yards one touchdown game the week before. Boom or Bust is Triple S’s M.O.   Bench Warmers   Joe Flacco – #21 Ranked Quarterback Flacco had a great game last week but he is not known for...
