Week 14 Waiver Wire Adds Wide Receivers Edition

We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 14 waiver wire adds, wide receivers and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. This is it RotoBallers, it’s do-or-die time. Whether you’ve already clinched and are preparing for the fantasy football playoffs or are looking for a wide receiver boost to sneak into your lineups, you can always use some help off the waiver wire. Below, I (Evan) will examine some Week 14 wide receiver waiver wire pickups and potential playoff sleepers, based on their current ownership numbers and fantasy outlooks. Good luck hitting that waiver wire for Week 14 RotoBallers. Fantasy Football Wide Receivers (WR) – Week 14 Kenny Stills (NO) – 48% owned in Fleaflicker leagues If anyone needed further proof that Kenny Still was going to benefit from Brandin Cooks absence, then this Sunday’s game gave them just that. One of the most explosive players in the NFL right now, Kenny Stills absolutely lit up Ike Taylor and the Steelers for 162 yards, including a 69 yard touchdown.  After last week”s dominant PPR performance, the evidence is there that Stills will be a bonafide WR2 the rest of the way, as he’s provided a spark to the offense that Marques Colston can’t offer at this point in his career. He has perhaps the easiest fantasy playoff schedule of any receiver with the Panthers, Bears and Falcons.  With his explosive playmaking ability, there’s a chance he finishes as a top 10 receiver in the playoff weeks.   Donte Moncrief...

Week 13 – Washington Redskins Fantasy Forecast

Washington Redskins (3-8) at Indianapolis Colts (7-4)   Bench Warmers Notable: Pierre Garcon- #40 Ranked WR    RG3 and Colt McCoy– # Ranked QB and # Ranked QB In case you haven’t heard, RG3 has been benched and the Redskins are rolling with Colt McCoy for the forseeable future this season. Word on the street has it that the organization still believes that RG3 is their guy, and that they are banking on the off season for Gruden and RG3 to get into a groove and work on some fundamentals but the decision has been made that McCoy gives them the best shot for 2014. The most interesting stat I have seen on the Redskin Quarterbacks is the RG3 has been sacked 15 times in his 4 starts this season and if you combine Cousins and McCoy’s sacks, it totals 13…and that was on 146 more pass attempts. I don’t dislike Colt overall fantasy wise, but I am holding off a week before thinking about putting him in my lineup and locker room drama tends to lead to a bad game.   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Alfred Morris– #10 Ranked RB There are few things that have been consistent on the Redskins team and Alfred Morris is one of them. With another change in the quarterback position, Morris will be depended upon as they smooth out any kinks. The Colts have a horrible rush attack so Morris should have another solid game in the mid teens this week.     Gut Calls DeSean Jackson– #23 Ranked WR It might be a little premature, but I think DeSean...

Week 13 – Indianapolis Colts Fantasy Forecast

Washington Redskins 3-8 at Indianapolis Colts 7-4     Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Andrew Luck – #4 Ranked Quarterback Luck please don’t be the Matthew Stafford of 2013. After a 30 fantasy point game in week 9, he dropped down to 19 then had his worse game of the season with 15 fantasy points. He will have a bounce back week and dominate the Redskins. Washington gives up the 3rd most fantasy points to Quarterbacks. There is nothing better then revenge.   T.Y. Hilton – #7 Ranked Wide Receiver Congrats to Hilton and his wife for their new baby girl. He had 122 yards, a touchdown, and a fabulous celebratory dance. He has had double-digits in six of his last eight games. Must Start.   Gut Calls   Dan Boom Herron – #30 Ranked Running Back Herron is the starter this week. That is great for him but this is not an ideal matchup for his second start. The Redskins give up the 4th fewest fantasy points to Running Backs. Herron out played Richardson last week and is the smarter play this week out of the two of them.   Reggie Wayne – #43 Ranked Wide Receiver Wayne is a Boom or Bust player with very little upside. He has clearly slowed down with age and injury. He may feel that all this talk is ‘toilet material’ but his stats show a different story. He had 10 yards off 9 targets last week. He has the best Quarterback in fantasy throwing him the ball against the easiest schedule and has only had two games in double-digits this year....
