Week 14 Waiver Wire Adds Wide Receivers Edition

We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 14 waiver wire adds, wide receivers and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. This is it RotoBallers, it’s do-or-die time. Whether you’ve already clinched and are preparing for the fantasy football playoffs or are looking for a wide receiver boost to sneak into your lineups, you can always use some help off the waiver wire. Below, I (Evan) will examine some Week 14 wide receiver waiver wire pickups and potential playoff sleepers, based on their current ownership numbers and fantasy outlooks. Good luck hitting that waiver wire for Week 14 RotoBallers. Fantasy Football Wide Receivers (WR) – Week 14 Kenny Stills (NO) – 48% owned in Fleaflicker leagues If anyone needed further proof that Kenny Still was going to benefit from Brandin Cooks absence, then this Sunday’s game gave them just that. One of the most explosive players in the NFL right now, Kenny Stills absolutely lit up Ike Taylor and the Steelers for 162 yards, including a 69 yard touchdown.  After last week”s dominant PPR performance, the evidence is there that Stills will be a bonafide WR2 the rest of the way, as he’s provided a spark to the offense that Marques Colston can’t offer at this point in his career. He has perhaps the easiest fantasy playoff schedule of any receiver with the Panthers, Bears and Falcons.  With his explosive playmaking ability, there’s a chance he finishes as a top 10 receiver in the playoff weeks.   Donte Moncrief...

Week 13 – Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Forecast

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4) vs New Orleans Saints (4-7)    Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Le’Veon Bell– #2 Ranked RB He is a given and I am sure you missed him last week on his bye. He is the 4th highest scoring RB for the season and is the engine that could. He is solid and he is consistent. Nothing more needs to be said.   Ben Roethlisberger– #8 Ranked QB Ben is having one of his best statistical seasons of his career. He is the 7th highest scoring QB for the season and this week he is going up against a pretty weak Saints defense. Big Ben should have another fine showing this week.     Antonio Brown– #1 Ranked WR In case there was any doubt about whether Brown was still the man in town in Pittsburgh…he is. Unequivocally. He is the 2nd highest scoring wide receiver this year and while Ben has been spreading the ball around a bit more, he still scored a TD and had 91 yards off 9 catches the week before the bye. He is the man. The mother eff-ing MAN!       Gut Calls Martavis Bryant– #32 Ranked WR Bryant is a talented young player who seems to be a big play kind of player. The good news is that the Saints give up big plays so there is a good chance for him to have a solid week and score a TD. The Saints are about equally bad at defending the run as they are the pass…so I would expect a pretty equal split.     Bench Warmers Markus Wheaton–...

Week 13 New Orleans Saints Fantasy Forecast

New Orleans Saints 4-7 at Pittsburgh Steelers 7-4 The Saints have had a very disappointing season. And fantasy owners with Saints on their roster have felt the effects of that disappointment. The Steelers defense is in the middle of the pack, so there’s a chance for some fantasy relevance in the Week 13 New Orleans Saints Fantasy Forecast. Pittsburgh gives up the 15th most points to QBs 20th most points to RBs 15th most points to WRs 6th most points to TEs 8th fewest points to DEFs   INJURIES: Pierre Thomas – Probable, shoulder Travaris Cadet – Probable, hamstring Robert Meachum – Questionable, ankle (probably OUT) Mark Ingram – Probable, shoulder Khiry Robisnons – OUT, arm   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Drew Brees – #6 Ranked QB Yes, he’s not as good away (that’s the narrative), but in his last two away games he scored 18 points at Carolina and 20 points at Detroit. You probably don’t have a better option. If you play daily, I wouldn’t bank on him, but he’s a fine play in your regular leagues. Jimmy Graham – #2 Ranked TE Yes. He’s still elite in a position where a 3 point fantasy game puts you in the top 20. You read that right, last week at Tight End you were a top 20 play in standard scoring if you scored THREE points. Wow.   Gut Calls Marques Colston and Kenny Stills – #33 and #52 Ranked WRs They’re splitting the work. Last week against the Ravens Colston caught all four of his targets for 82 yards and a touchdown. Stills caught eight of his nine targets for...
