Week 15 Waiver Wire Adds Running Backs Edition

We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 15 waiver wire adds, running backs and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. It’s been a crazy week. Many typically reliable fantasy assets like Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Lesean Mccoy had very quiet games, just in time for the first round of the playoffs. But if you’re still reading this, I can only assume you’ve advanced to the next round. Congratulations! Let’s get started on finding some deeper running backs who may be able to help you win next week’s matchup.   Week 15 Waiver Wire Options – Running Backs Andre Williams (RB, NYG) – 51% owned on Fleaflicker Admittedly I’m breaking my own rule of 50% or under here, but just by a little bit. I’m also going to level you with guys: I could list a bunch of fringe players for you to go chasing, but considering the time of the year, we know who is or who isn’t going to be useful and I don’t want to waste your time.  But I digress! We finally saw the breakout game for Andre “Future 2000″ Williams that Giants fans and fantasy owners alike have been waiting for! Sure, sure, it came against the Titans run defense, but just let us have this, okay? For those who didn’t catch the game, Williams rushed 24 times for 131 yards and a touchdown. He also added three receptions for 16 yards, which is a big deal because he has a reputation for not being able to handle...

Week 14 – New York Giants Fantasy Forecast

New York Giants 3-9 at Tennessee Titans 2-10   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Odell Beckham Jr. – #11 Ranked Wide Receiver Beckham continues to help your fantasy team. No it wasn’t 26 fantasy points like last week, but he managed to catch 7 balls for 90 yards. He is becoming the Kelvin Benjamin of the Giants where there is only him to rely on down the field. ODB is a Must Start every week.   Gut Calls   Rashad Jennings – #9 Ranked Running Back Jennings is still listed as Questionable with an ankle injury. Check all the way to the game before putting him in your lineup. After only having him back for three weeks it is looking like we might be without him again. Jennings had his second best game of the season last week with 91 yards rushing and two touchdowns. On Tuesday the Giants signed Chris Ogbonnaya to help in the backfield. They know they cannot rely on solely Andre Williams to carry the ball. This could get really weird against a team that is known for being really horrible against the run.   New York Giants – #16 Ranked Defense   Bench Warmers   Eli Manning – #20 Ranked Quarterback For those of you that streamed Eli last week against the Jags, well I told you so. The offensive line could not stop the Jags from getting to Eli. He took 4 sacks and lost the ball two times. Eli ended his day with a team loss against the then 1 and 11 Jaguars and 9 fantasy points. He tends to...

Week 13 – New York Giants Fantasy Forecast

New York Giants 3-8 at Jacksonville Jaguars 1-10   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Odell Beckham Jr. – #8 Ranked Wide Receiver You can’t turn on the T.V. without seeing the catch made by Odell Beckham Jr. and most would say that it is the best catch in the NFL. ODB finished the day with 146 yards and 2 touchdowns. Playing Rookies is the smart move this year and ODB is a Must Start every week.   Rashad Jennings – #12 Ranked Running Back Jennings had 52 yards on the ground and another 8 catches for 68 yards. I really like Jennings this week. Jacksonville gives up the 10th most fantasy points to Running Backs and I see him getting a lot of Red Zone touches.   Gut Calls   Eli Manning – #11 Ranked Quarterback I know people are picking him up because of the matchup but he is still not my favorite. I like Bridgewater more then Eli this week. Jacksonville held Luck to only 15 fantasy points, his worse game this year. If Luck can fumble twice then the turn over master Eli is not a safe bet. Eli had a nice game last week and it is because of ODB and the fact that he only targeted Reuban Randle only 3 times. Manning will go back to throwing the ball to Randle and throwing the ball to the opposing team.   Rueban Randle – #45 Ranked Quarterback Randle will most likely see more targets this week, which means the Giants, will lose. He falls in Gut Call because the Jags give up the 10th most...
