Green Bay Packers (7-7-1) at Chicago Bears (8-7)
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Martellus Bennett (TE)
If you’re still playing in Week 17 then you already know to start Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery. And if you’re still playing you also know that even though they had a down week last week they will have to step it up against Green Bay in order to win the division. It’s a win-or-go home situation. What you might not know is that Green Bay gives up the 5th most fantasy points to opposing TEs and last week he racked up 85 receiving yards. Cutler likes him so as long as Cutler is behind center, you should start Bennett.
Other Notables: Matt Forte (RB), Brandon Marshall (WR), Alshon Jeffery (WR)
Gut Calls
Jay Cutler (QB)
As we like to say over at Her Fantasy Football headquarters, Cutler did you dirty last week and you may never trust him again. That’s okay. Get in line! But if we’re being honest he’s probably going to do really well. That, or he’ll get benched. And because his getting benched is still an option, we would suggest you look elsewhere for your Week 17 QB. Coming back from injury is hard, so we’re not placing blame. We just don’t want your team to go down with Cutler.
Bench Warmers
No one. Consider starting everyone. In fact, their kicker, Robbie Gould, just signed a big contract so he might be extra excited to play. Whoops… don’t start the Chicago Defense. That should go without saying.
