Atlanta Falcons 2-4 at Baltimore Ravens 4-2
Week 7 – Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Forecast
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Joe Flacco – 10th Ranked QB
What a fantastic game for Mr. Flacco last week. He threw for over 300 yards and had 5 touchdowns. They wanted to get Torrey involved and they did. I think being able to throw the ball around to so many targets was only a good thing for Flacco. This should be another great matchup for Flacco going up against the Falcons that give up the 16th most fantasy points to Quaterbacks
Steve Smith Sr. – 12th Ranked WR
Triple S is the best story in the NFL this season. I just love him. Another great game for Smith against the Buccaneers, with 110 yards and a touchdown. He continues to impress and should be in your lineup against the Falcons.
Justin Forsett – 11th Ranked RB
Forsett had his third game in a row in double-digits. He had 111 yards rushing and that is when the Ravens were focused on throwing. He has proven that he is a strong runner and is a Must Start against the Falcons that give up the most points to Running Backs
Justin Tucker – 2nd Ranked K
Tucker is the 4th highest kicker in fantasy points. Not only that but Atlanta gives up the 7th most fantasy points to Kickers so play him and feel good about it.
Gut Calls
Torrey Smith – 47th Ranked WR
Smith had his best game on the season with 51 yards and 2 touchdowns. With that said, he has only had one other game with double-digits. He looked good though and has the potential to have an ok game against the Falcons that give up the 13th most fantasy points to Wide Receivers. I personnel think that he will burn owners that start him because of last weeks performance. Boom or Bust.
Bernard Pierce – 36th Ranked RB
Bernard is no Forsett when it comes to yards but the Ravens still like to play him. He ended last week with 32 yards and a touchdown. No touchdown he would have given you 3 points. This is a really good matchup for Bernard and if the Ravens continue to give him the ball then he could be a good flex player this week.
Baltimore Ravens – 13th Ranked DEF
Baltimore’s Defense has been just ok this year. They only got 8 fantasy points against the terrible Buccaneers even with their 5 sacks. Atlanta can score so this might not be the matchup to start the Ravens Defense.
Bench Warmers
Owen Daniels – 20th Ranked TE
Why? I just don’t understand why he didn’t get a touchdown or more targets but if the Ravens aren’t going to give the ball in an offense that loves using Tight Ends then he won’t be playing on my team either. The Falcons give up the 2nd fewest fantasy points to Tight Ends.
