Week 17 – Denver Broncos Fantasy Forecast

Denver Broncos (11-4) vs Oakland Raiders (3-12)   First Holiday Wish Peyton Manning pulls it together. I am not sure it needs more explaining than that. 4 interceptions in the championship week for most people, ouch! You could only ride with your studs and hope they showed up to play. That was not the case with Peyton last week. It is a good match up this week against Oakland but I couldn’t fault you for not wanting to possibly get burned like your comrades in their final games last week.   Second Holiday Wish If you were lucky enough to grab C.J. Anderson when Hillman went down, than you have been riding him all the way to Week 17 with nothing but a smile on your face. I want that to continue for you this week, which is likely as the Raiders give up the 3rd most points to running backs,; and I am thankful that we didn’t truly have a Montee Ball or Ronnie Hillman end of season return to mess everything up for Anderson owners.   Third Holiday Wish My last wish for the Broncos seems to be a far fetched wish, but hey…tis the season of miracles. I would like Julius Thomas to show up and do something, ANYTHING of value. I told you to grab Heath Miller instead of Thomas and I was right. Sadly I will say the same thing this week or grab Charles Clay in fact…but nonetheless I wish Julius Thomas to pull it together this week.   Pile of Coal Wes Welker….you know what you did, or didn’t do more...

Week 17 – Miami Dolphins Fantasy Forecast

Miami Dolphins (8-7) vs New York Jets (3-12)   First Holiday Wish My first wish is that if you are still in the hunt that you hop on over to the waiver wire and grab Charles Clay for this week. He has a fantastic match up against the Jets who give up the 5th most points to tight ends and he was dynamite last week with 114 yards. You take what gifts you could possibly be handed when it comes to tight ends.   Second Holiday Wish I hope that you are (a) a Miami Dolphins Defense owner and (b) that this week is your championship, because if it is, you are in for a treat. It is all about match ups and they are going up against the turnover happy Jets. You have been waiting for a week like this . The Dolphins defense is always reliable but weeks like this is when it is down right fun.   Third Holiday Wish The last wish for the Dolphins is that Tannehill and Mike Wallace keep up their chemistry. Tannehill was the 2nd highest scoring quarterback last week and Mike Wallace the 5th highest scoring wide out. They seem to be finding each other in the end zone, which is the best place to get locked in. Make it happen again...

Week 17 – Kansas City Chiefs Fantasy Forecast

First Holiday Wish Naturally I wish nothing but bunnies, rainbows, angel’s kisses and whatever else is possible for Jamaal Charles owners. You stuck through it with him in the beginning when it was a little dicey and then he rewarded you the rest of the season until the last couple weeks when he was hurt. Well I want him to reward you this week if you are still in it to win it. He only rushed for 29 yards and had 5 catches for 48 yards…so pray for some improved healing this week.   Second Holiday Wish My next wish is a bit spiteful, but I have to say that I would like to see the Chiefs go all season long now without having one of their wide receivers catch a touchdown. I am baffled and not sure how this is even remotely a possibility in the modern day NFL, but here we are…so let’s marinate in the awfulness that is the wide receiver situation in Kansas City.   Third Holiday Wish We need tight ends to produce and Travis Kelce is towards the top of the list of guys you count on each week to do better than 3 points. Sadly that is what he got last week off 31 yards. It is not a great match up for him as the Chargers are pretty tough against tight ends. My wish for him is more so for next year that he really gets into a better groove with Alex Smith being as Alex Smith will not play Sunday.   Pile of Coal Who else could possibly get...

Week 17 – Houston Texans Fantasy Forecast

Houston Texans (8-7) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (3-12)   First Holiday Wish May Andre Johnson have another decent week. He lead the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards and what is even more of a Christmas miracle is that he didn’t get hurt or have a set back with his concussion. Next up is the Jags.   Second Holiday Wish Consistency, consistency, consistency. That is what I am hoping for from Arian Foster for you this week. He averages 18 points and got you 15 points last week so let’s end the fantasy season strong. It is very, very possible against the Jaguars who give up the 7th most points to running backs.   Third Holiday Wish I hope that Case Keenum will have improved his accuracy from week 16 this week. It was a rough outing having only completed 20 of 42 passes for 185 yards and an interception. You have rode DeAndre Hopkins all season long and I don’t want to see him let you down this week because of a quarterback...

Week 17 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fantasy Forecast

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-13) vs New Orleans Saints (6-9)   First Holiday Wish My first with when it comes to the Buccaneers is that none of you are in a position where you have to even think about resorting to a Tampa Bay Back. If that is the case you will need to get a Costco sized batch of cookies and milk for the big guy and still cross your fingers on both hands for some points.   Second Holiday Wish Next I hope that Vincent Jackson keeps up the WR3/Flex kind of numbers we have been seeing recently. This is a vast improvement from the pile of coal he was destined for mid season but he has come back a bit in the end here.   Third Holiday Wish I hope that Mike Evans bounces back to form this week for you as he blew it in week 16 for those people who had their championship game. It’s a decent match up this week with Saints giving up the 7th most points to wide outs. Come on Evans!   Pile of Coal The Running Back...
