Cincinnati Bengals 2014 High and Low

Cincinnati Bengals 10-5-1   Welcome to AFC North Week and the Cincinnati Bengals 2014 Fantasy Highs and Lows! Each week we will go division by division breaking down each team.   High: My high is Jeremy Hill, especially in playoffs. In the last three weeks he had 27,18, and 11 fantasy points in standard leagues. In PPR it wasn’t too much different because the Bengals really don’t involve him in the passing game like they do with Bernard. For a Rookie in a two set Running Back backfield and with the Coaches not really knowing what to do with him in the first half of the season, Hill finished just three spots below Jamaal Charles in fantasy points. Let’s hope that Cincinnati either can figure a way to get both guys enough touches or they trade one of them and give them both a chance to be the number one back. Bernard may be able to catch but Hill can run.   Low: A.J Green was not worth that high of a draft pick at all this season. He had five games with zero points whether he was out with injury of was nothing more then a decoy. In the Playoffs he had 4,0, and 6 fantasy points. If your Championship game was in week 17 at least you can add 8 more points for receptions. He suffered a concussion in Week 17 so he was out for the first week of NFL Playoffs where the Bengals lost against the Colts. He is a freak so hopefully he gets healthy this off-season so he can dominate in 2015. He...

Week 17 – Cincinnati Bengals Wish List

Cincinnati Bengals 10-4-1 at Pittsburgh Steelers 10-5     All I want for the Holiday season is:   Is for AJ Green to be healthy. We already lost him once this year for three weeks in a row and again in Week 2. He only scored 4 points in Week 15 and 0 in Week 16. I think if the Coach decides he is playing he will be nothing more then a decoy.   I want Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard to have anther awesome game. If you have both and you can only choose one then pick Hill but both where great against the Broncos and both should be great against the Steelers with Green limited.   And although the Bengals defense has been rocking it the last two weeks, I would not start them again this week. The last time they played Pittsburgh the defense had -4 points. It’s called LeVeon, Brown and Big...

Week 17 – Carolina Panthers Wish List

Carolina Panthers 6-8-1 at Atlanta Falcons 6-9     All I want this Holiday Season is:   To say I told you so. Ok Cam Newton didn’t have over 30 fantasy points but he ran 12 times for 63 yards and a touchdown. He is going to be great again this week against Atlanta in a division game. They already took a loss earlier in the season and I don’t see it happening again.   I want Kelvin Benjamin to be eating whatever Odell Beckham Jr. has been eating. Benjamin was targeted 12 times last week but only brought in 5 for 47 yards. This is an easy matchup. The Falcons give up the 7th most fantasy points to Wide Receivers. We all need you to have a good day.   I want Stewart to be the only Running Back to touch the ball on Sunday for Carolina. He has been great and this is the best matchup you could ask for. Atlanta gives up the most points to Running Backs. He is only owned in under 70% of leagues so pick him up and play him! DeAngelo, I hope you get healthy man, but please don’t come in the game on Sunday and mess Stewart’s fantasy worth, thanks....

Week 17 – Arizona Cardinals Wish List

Arizona Cardinals 11-4 at San Francisco 49ers 7-8     All I want this Holiday Season is:   Carson Palmer back. Well since I get him back, there is no fantasy worth in Arizona. No one has scored over 10 fantasy points in the last two weeks except the Kicker and Defense.   Speaking of which I said I didn’t like Arizona defense last week and they scored -3 points so I hope you didn’t play them. I still would not play the defense. The 49ers can turn over the ball but they will be exhausted again this week. The last time they played the 49ers they had 4 fantasy points.   There are no Must Starts of Gut Calls this week. San Francisco is a very good defense and should feel pretty good going up against the very injured Cardinals. The only thing that has stayed consistent on the Cardinals is the great coaching. Bruce Arians, Coach of the year!...

Week 17 – Oakland Raiders Wish List

Oakland Raiders 3-12 at Denver Broncos 11-4     All I want this Holiday Season is:   For all of us to appreciate Derek Carr. He had more fantasy points then Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Andrew Luck last week. Week 16 sucked. I am not telling you to start him against Denver but it’s not a bad play. The Broncos have what they have in playoffs and they don’t need to have any more injuries. As it is the starters on defense still give up the 7th most fantasy points to Quarterbacks.   For all the Oakland receivers to be the best flexs out there. Both Andre Holmes and James Jones are more consistent on targets but even Kenbrell Thompkins had a decent day with 9 fantasy points last week. Latavius Murray wouldn’t be a bad flex either. Raiders, the land of the FLEX....
