Unfortunately the QB streams were pretty disappointing. Tyrod Taylor delivered a decent game that meets our standards but it was still underwhelming given the matchup. In a huge surprise, Jameis Winston totally flopped on what should have been a golden matchup. Lastly, Brian Hoyer was terrible on Sunday night against the Patriots. In deeper leagues and 2QB Leagues, Hoyer may have killed playoff chances. If you survived, it’s time to move on and look towards the next stream. An obvious mention that I felt didn’t need it’s own writeup: Andrew Luck has a good chance to play this week. If he is unowned, run out and scoop him up! Nothing flashy, but acceptable for a stream. Brock Osweiler was disappointing for most of the night, but saved himself with a touchdown and some decent yardage late. I felt like Ryan Fitzpatrick really didn’t play well at all but he saved his day with a rushing score. On the opposite end, Alex Smith had a great game with a season high 10 yards per attempt, but didn’t score. That kept his point total to just 13 points. Meanwhile my deep league pick of Mark Sanchez delivered a very Sanchez-like performances with two touchdowns and three picks. It saved his day from being awful, but it was still disappointing as far as my standards for this column. Zach gambled on Marcus Mariota, knowing he didn’t like most of the matchups last week, and it didn’t pay off. The Panthers defense played up to their normal level. It turns out Jay Cutler was the mid-tier QB that went off in Week 10. In Week 11, Tony Romo returns. He is already owned in most leagues, but if he is out there he is a must-add. We also get a few new names into the streaming mix. Matt Hasselbeck will be starting at the Falcons, and we might get Brock Osweiler at the Bears which is a pretty intriguing matchup. I’m still assuming Peyton is the starter, but Osweiler is definitely worth considering if he gets the nod.
