RB Joseph Randle the likely starter in Week 1

One of the most talked about storylines of the off season was whether or not the Dallas Cowboys had a starting running back on their roster. Joseph Randle started training camp the assumed starter, but he never really grabbed a hold of that position, so much so that they brought in former Seattle Seahawk, Christine Michael. It looks like Randle will get the majority of carries in the favorable Week 1 matchup against the Giants, but keep your eye on this situation. There may be a waiver wire pickup in your future. This is a great offensive line, so once a clear starter emerges, that player is an automatic top-20 running back. Link to...

RB Frank Gore Has Bromance Level Of Adoration For Colts’ QB Andrew Luck

Confidence is running high in Indy.  RB Frank Gore, new to the Colts this year, is ready to put his quarterback on a god-like pedestal. The enthusiasm is great to see for fantasy owners as it suggests that there is a good chemistry coming together on this Colts team.  RB Frank Gore still has plenty in the tank and you can expect to see him ground and pound his way into the post-season with Luck.  And with the pass-attack-that-could-be (Johnson, Hilton), things are looking good in Indianapolis. RB Arian Foster Could Be Back For The Texans By Week 2

By some estimations, RB Arian Foster might be able to get back on the field as early as Week 2 of the regular season.  Contrary to previous estimations, Foster is rehabbing nicely and things look good for those fantasy owners who have already drafted him and were sweating how long it would be until he’s back. Encouraging news, but Alfred Blue’s stock is sure to go down considerably.  When Foster is healthy, he kills it.  The only problem is that he’s not often healthy. Link to...

RB Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills Part Ways

Well, Rex Ryan wanted to stress how difficult the cut was to make, but cut RB Fred Jackson he did.  This decision is not much of a surprise, however, with the team trending cheaper and younger.  Jackson was simply too old and too highly paid to stay with the team.  Jackson still has a little gas left in the tank, though, and we look forward to seeing him in another role on another NFL team.  We’re more than a little sentimental about the numerous streamroller fantasy season he’s produced for us in the past.
