Intensity, that’s the right word… Supposedly there were exchanged words and then Bryant actually took a shot at Patmon. People jumped in and stopped the whole thing before it escalated, but you have to give it to Bryant for his consistency. He’s not calming down now that he got his new, big contract. Link to...

Mark this down as a gross and unusual injury: Bryant will be out a week to 10 days due to an ingrown hair that became infected and caused his elbow to swell. He had to have surgery to remove the infection. Whoa. Bryant has had a rather impressive off-season and many believe this second year talent will make a big jump in 2015. Last year he caught 26 passes for 549 yards and eight touchdowns. That’s 21.1 yards per catch! Link to...

Kevin White injured his shin earlier in the preseason and even though Fox said White is making progress, they still do not have a timetable for his return. He’s currently on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, but in the preseason he can still come back whenever he is ready. We don’t love rookie receivers without reps, especially when they play for conservative John Fox. Do not reach for White unless you are in a dynasty league. Let him fall to you. Link to...

The Ravens do not consider Perriman’s bruised knee a long-term injury, but you can’t get excited when a rookie route runner has to sit out camp rather than learn the offense. Offensive Coordinator Marc Trestman has his work cut out for him. Perriman is considered day-to-day. Link to...

Smith is a popular sleeper in the fantasy football circles, but this changes things a bit. Supposedly the injury is minor, but the second-round draft pick is still expected to miss four to six weeks. Stay tuned to see if he has a chance of making it to the season opener. Either way, it’s hard to get excited about a rookie receiver without preseason reps. Link to...

Seriously? The Cleveland Browns are a disaster zone. No one is talking enough about how bad they are. They brought in WR Dwayne Bowe, but that doesn’t make anyone feel better. Terrelle Pryor is a very good athlete, but this is the NFL. In good news, Pryor is 6’5″ and 232 pounds so perhaps he’ll be a nice red zone target. Still, this is a bad sign for the team as a whole.
