WR Breshad Perriman is still out and Coach Harbaugh is not pleased

The wide receiver situation in Baltimore is dubious… at best. The team needs all hands on deck, not only so their younger receivers can develop a chemistry with QB Joe Flacco, but also for the entire offense to become better acquainted with the new OC Marc Trestman offense. As a rookie, Perriman shows a lot of promise for fantasy players. He could turn in a “Kelvin Benjamin-like” performance due to the fact that the team lacks pass catchers. Even Head Coach John Harbaugh said he “hates” that Permian is still out with a knee injury. We feel ya, Harbaugh. We are with you. Link to...

RB Chris Johnson signs a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals

There you have it. Chris Johnson found a team. Johnson’s glory days are far behind him, but back in 2009 during his rookie season he carried the ball for 2,006 yards and 14 touchdowns as well as catching 50 passes for 503 yards and two touchdowns. This is why they used to call him CJ2K (cue the “Prince/Aritist Formerly Known as Prince” jokes). Sure, he never made it back to that number, but you might be surprised to know that Chris Johnson rushed for 1,000+ yards every season except last year when he played for the New York Jets. That surprised me. Also, he’s only missed one game in his entire career and that was in 2008. Yep, it surprised me, too. As proof, here is the screenshot from rotoworld.com Link to story...

LT David Bakhtiari out of practice with a sore knee

There are very few details regarding Bakhtiari’s injury, but protecting Aaron Rodgers’ blindside is a very important job. Luckily, RT Bryan Bulaga can switch sides if necessary, especially since he played left tackle in college, but the best case scenario is a healthy Bakhtiari. This offense boasts 11 returning starters on offense, so don’t get too freaked out. Link to...

QB Eli Manning wants to be the highest paid QB in the league

This is not fantasy relevant because he will play hard with or without a contract, but it’s still intriguing. On one hand, it sounds nuts. Statistically he doesn’t hold a candle to an Aaron Rodgers or Andrew Luck. But when it comes to titles, he’s the man. What do you think? Should he be the highest paid quarterback in the league, especially now that he’s 34 years old? Link to...
