Atlanta Falcons (4-7) vs Arizona Cardinals (9-2) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Roddy White– #29 Ranked WR Roddy has been the more consistent receiver this year in terms of being targeted in the end zone and nearly had a touchdown last week. He has been hot the past few weeks so keep riding him till he cools off. Gut Calls Julio Jones– #18 Ranked WR Julio Jones finally scored a touchdown. It was his first touchdown since week 3. His yardage was on pare with the last 6 games in the high 60’s range. The Cardinals are a tough defense so temper your expectations. Steven Jackson– #32 Ranked RB Per usual, Steven Jackson is a gut call and all depends on what you other options are for the start. I will reiterate that he does not get much yardage. Think in the 40 yard range. It all rides on whether or not he gets in the end zone. I think the Falcons are looking cohesive enough that I think they will be able to get in the red zone for Jackson to punch it through. Bench Warmers The Falcon’s Defense– #28 Ranked DEF I highly doubt when you have been setting your lineup you thought, maybe I should play the Falcons. Hopefully that thought doesn’t cross your mind as the Falcons are truly not a good defense and come in at 30th for sacks. No...

by Ashley Williams | Nov 22, 2014 | Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns
Atlanta Falcons (4-6) vs Cleveland Browns (6-4) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Roddy White– #28 Ranked WR Roddy has emerged as the top receiver the past 4 games. He scored 16, 6, 13 and 13 points. He has also found the end zone in 3 of the last 4 games. More importantly he is being targeted a bunch. Last week he caught 8 of 12 catches for 75 yards and a TD. He is being targeted about the same as Julio but Roddy seems to being doing more with it. Gut Calls Julio Jones- #12 Ranked WR While Julio didn’t put up big numbers for you last week, 5, he did get targeted quite a bit catching 6 of 11 targets for 59 yards. This offense is just not powerful enough for both Julio and Roddy to find some love in the end zone on a consistent basis and Julio hasn’t been in the end zone since week 3. Roddy seems to be the man in the red zone so temper your expectations for Ju-lee, Ju-lee, Ju-lee…Julio! Steven Jackson– #26 Ranked RB Here is the deal. Is he productive…rarely. Is he consistent…not even close. But the good news is that he is at least he is getting touches. He is averaging 17 touches per game the last three games. He only rushed for 41 yards last week and wasn’t able to find the end zone, so it was ugly for you if you started him, but sooner than later something good will come from that many touches. It has to, right? Bench Warmers...

by Ashley Williams | Nov 16, 2014 | Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers
Atlanta Falcons (3-6) at Carolina Panthers (3-6-1) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Steven Jackson– #16 Ranked RB Jackson has had 2 back to back solid weeks scoring double digit points. We needed him to step up his game with some serious bye week woes and that he did. He was the 7th highest scoring running back last week and this week looks promising for another good week since the Panthers give up the 5th most points to running backs. Gut Calls Matt Ryan– #12 Ranked QB Ryan has continued with his mid-teens performances. He is not a top performing quarterback this year but if you are in a 14 team league, he is a good option. The good news is that they are playing the Panthers next week who give up the 6th most points to opposing quarterbacks…so you should be in for another 14 point week. Roddy White– #23 Ranked WR White has been up and down this season but what is really interesting is that he has been having those “up” games on the road. Of his 4 double-digit point games, only one of those came at home. Lucky for you he is on the road again this week and the Panthers secondary is not strong. The odds are in your favor for Roddy playing well. Julio Jones– #7 Ranked WR Jones has been a bit of a disappointment to his owners this year but you would be feeling much better about him if he was finding the end zone. He has only scored 3 touchdowns all season long and has...
