Week 10 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fantasy Forecast

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Bobby Rainey– #14 Ranked RB With Doug Martin out Rainey has taken a hold of the reins and has run with it. He rushed for 87 yards on 19 touches and scored 11 points. Get even more excited this week as the Falcons give up the most points to rushers. Charles Sims might get some looks but don’t let that fool you, Rainey is the featured back right now.   Mike Evans– #16 Ranked WR Evans is the real deal and has been getting into a groove recently. Last week in particular was his best showing yet with 2 touchdowns, 124 yards and 24 points. He was the 2nd highest scoring receiver last week and has been finding success down field. There has been a switch to McCown this week which might make you nervous but Evans is playing lights out and that shouldn’t change with who is at the helm.     Gut Calls Vincent Jackson– #25 Ranked WR Jackson owners have not been happy with him and rightfully so. He has been very consistent over the last few years but this year he has been nothing but boom or bust. He was a bit better last week and this week he has a favorable match up with Atlanta giving up the 9th most points to opposing receivers. Keep your fingers crossed Jackson owners.     Bench Warmers Charles Sims– #37 Ranked RB Sims has yet to play so there is absolutely no reason why you should be considering playing him unless you are in...

Week 10 – Atlanta Falcons Fantasy Forecast

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Julio Jones– #7 Ranked WR It hard to say that Julio is a must start at the moment being as he hasn’t had the best few weeks. We are used to much higher numbers than 5 from Julio. With that said, he is still the 14th highest scoring wide out this season so he is a start in your WR2 slot.     Gut Calls Matt Ryan– #10 Ranked QB You are not considering Ryan unless you are in a 14 team league. He has been consistently just okay but not great. There are too many other quarterbacks that are hot right now to consider Ryan for the start with confidence. He is averaging 16.6 points but if you took out the 2 good games he had you would be looking more so around that 13 point range. You need more than that.   Steven Jackson– #21 Ranked RB There are some decent running backs out on bye this week such as Bradshaw, Foster, and Morris so you might need to turn to someone like Jackson. While he is the picture perfect nightmare of a fantasy running back with his inconsistency; he does get the bulk of the workload and the Buccaneers line is nothing to tout about. There is always a chance.    Bench Warmers Antone Smith– #53 Ranked RB I feel defeated when it comes to Antone Smith. I have given up hope that the Falcons will use him more. Despite the fact that he has the most fantasy point of any Falcons running...

Her Fantasy Football Podcast 11.8.14- Week 10 NFL Fantasy Football Match Ups

Every week we go match up by match up and tell you who your must starts, gut calls and bench players are for the game. We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good week for one of your questionable players. We were in the midst of traveling to New York so there is no Thursday night game analysis this week but listen to the rest of the match ups for your line-up decisions. Let the fun begin....

Week 8 – Atlanta Falcons Fantasy Forecast

Atlanta Falcons (2-5) vs Detroit Lions (5-2)    Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em None    Gut Calls Julio Jones and Roddy White – #4 Ranked WR and #31 Ranked WR White had a great game scoring 16 points off 100 yards last week but that was his highest scoring game by far. Julio is listed a questionable and was limited in practice on Wednesday. White has more value is Julio is still touch and go. Julio is a must start is he is given the green light. Either way don’t expect a big game as the Lion’s give up the 3rd fewest points to wide outs.     Bench Warmers All Falcon’s Running Backs Antone Smith is still not being targeted enough. He only had 3 carries for 10 yards and was only targeted twice in the air. He scored a total of 1 point. Jacquizz Rodgers had 0 points off 2 touches for 9 yards. Best of all Steven Jackson had 8 attempts and only got 22 yards for 2 points.   Matt Ryan– #19 Ranked QB The problem is that the Falcons are going up against Detroit how have given up the fewest points to QBs this year. Ryan hasn’t exactly been the picture of consistency so thinking he will do better than most against the Lion’s is not...

Week 8 – Detroit Lions Fantasy Forecast

Detroit Lions (5-2) at Atlanta Falcons (2-5)   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notable: Joique Bell- #14 Ranked RB and Lion’s Defense- #4 Ranked DEF   Golden Tate – #16 Ranked WR Did we or did we not tell you to not freak out and that Golden Tate would turn it around. Well he turned it around in a big, BIG way. He was the 3rd highest scoring receiver pulling in 21 points. He saw his most catches in a game with 10 and had 154 yards and a touchdown. Megatron being sidelined may be the best thing that could have happened for the Lions in the sense that defenses will not be able to focus solely on Calvin Johnson now that Tate has established himself as a threat.     Gut Calls Corey Fuller – #69 Ranked WR With Calvin Johnson out, Fuller stepped up and scored 10 points off 5 targets, 3 catches for 44 yards and 1 touchdown. He will have virtually no fantasy value to you when Johnson comes back, and will only have value to you while Johnson is out if he finds the end zone. The good news is that he was in for 88% of the snaps so the potential is there is you need a flier.   Matthew Stafford – #15 Ranked QB I didn’t think that we would be in this position but you really need to think twice about playing Stafford unless you are in a 14 team league. The cold, hard facts are that Stafford was the 15th highest scoring QB last week and is the 13th...
