Week 5 – New York Giants Fantasy Forecast

Atlanta Falcons 2-2 at New York Giants 2-2   The Giants have turned their team around from the sad first game. Can they keep it up? Find out in Week 5 – New York Giants Fantasy Forecast.   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Rashad Jennings – 5th Ranked RB   Jennings is going to have a huge week against the Falcons that can’t stop the run. I know that he disappointed us last week against Washington but this will not be the same game. Dare I say fantasy orgy? The best way to beat Atlanta is on the ground and Jennings is now rested and ready to dominate.   Larry Donnell – 5th Ranked TE   Larry is not just a one hit wonder. Last week was his third nice week with a whopping 3 touchdowns and 54 yards. This will be a tough week for him going up against the Falcons who give up the 5th fewest fantasy points to tight ends. With that said he is a huge part of the Giants offense with over 30 targets this season.   Gut Calls   Eli Manning – 12th Ranked QB   Eli!!!! What a week last week. He had 300 yards and 4 touchdowns, awesome. Probably not going to happen again but now we know that he is capable of having a nice game. Eli is on a winning streak and is playing at home, this might be the week you risk it and play Eli Manning.   Victor Cruz – 29th Ranked WR and Rueben Randle – 33rd Ranked WR   The wide receiving core will...

Week 5 – Atlanta Falcons Fantasy Forecast

Atlanta Falcons (2-2) at New York Giants (2-2) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Roddy White Roddy is in the play’em if you got’em section because he was able to last a whole game with his touchy hamstring which is a good sign for this week as well. White played a larger role in the offense being targeted 14 times. Granted he only caught 4 of those passes but it was for 73 yards and a touchdown. You can never count Roddy out so he is a play.   Gut Calls Julio Jones Let’s be honest, you will be playing Julio Jones if he does play in this week’s game but right now he is listed as questionable and was limited in practice on Wednesday. His questionable status is the only reason he is in the gut calls section. While not getting a touchdown last week, he was able to still get you 8 points off 82 yards. Roddy was targeted twice as much as Julio but Julio did more with what he had. This should make you feel confident.   Devin Hester Well he has made quite a splash the past few weeks and has been the bright light for the Falcons. Hester had 70 yards and a touchdown last week scoring you 13 points and he scored 16 points the week before. With Harry Douglas likely to return, Hester will see less action in the game. He is still THE special teams guy so if you are in a league where they give touchdown points to the receiver as well then Hester is someone who should be...

Week 4 – Atlanta Falcons Fantasy Forecast

Atlanta Falcons (2-1) at Minnesota Vikings (1-2) The Falcons are not only playing better ball right now than the Vikings but there are big time fantasy players that have historically had the Vikings number. All good news for Falcons’ wide receiver owners.   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notable: Matt Ryan- #6 Ranked QB   Julio Jones- #2 Ranked WR Ju-li-O!!!!!!!!!! Boy was he fantastic last week. Not only did he have 161 receiving yards off 9 catches but he pulled in 2 touchdowns as well. Anyone who played against a Falcons player last week was hating life and especially hating Julio Jones. Julio is the Vikings’ nightmare having caught almost 950 yards over the past 8 match-ups. Look for Jones to beat the Vikings down yet again.     Gut Calls Roddy White- #19 Ranked WR Roddy’s hamstring didn’t play last week. He has been limited in practice but when it comes to players like Roddy, that doesn’t really tell you anything. Roddy is one of those players that rarely misses a game so it might just be more so of a precautionary measure to rehab the vet for the game. Look to your injury reports to get final word on whether or not he will be a go for Sunday.   Harry Douglas- #51 Ranked WR Douglas left the game last week with a foot injury after catching a TD but Roddy was out so that is why Douglas was even an option. Douglas has been practicing this week so don’t factor the foot into the equation, instead factor in that Roddy might be back which...

Week 4 – Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Forecast

Atlanta Falcons 2-1 at Minnesota Vikings 1-2  It just doesn’t seem to be getting any easier for the Vikings. With no Adrian Peterson the Vikings are having a herd time finding their sweet spot. Now with tight end Kyle Rudolph out is there anything left? Find out in Week 4 – Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Forcast.   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Blair Walsh – 12th Ranked K   No other must starts. Atlanta is scary and so is the Vikings offense.   Gut Calls   Matt Asiata – 19th Ranked RB Asiata might be a must start this week if you have an injured running back or one on bye. He has been playing pretty well but he has to get a touchdown to be a productive back for your fantasy team. Atlanta gives up the 3rd most fantasy points to running backs so as far as a matchup player you really can’t ask for more.   Cordarrelle Patterson – 16th Ranked WR I know. I own him in a few of my leagues too. It has been a bust the last two weeks with him. Now that Cassell is sidelined due to breaking his foot in multiple places. Bridgewater is more of the unknown. Will he be able to connect with Patterson like Cassell did in Week 1 or will this be another disappointing season for my old favorite team? Don’t bench Patterson yet but it might take a minute to find the love between Patterson and Bridgewater.   Greg Jennings – 34th Ranked WR Atlanta is right in the middle of the pack when it comes to covering wide receivers....
