Week 11 – St. Louis Rams Fantasy Forecast

St. Louis Rams (3-6) vs Denver Broncos (7-2)    Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em None     Gut Calls None     Bench Warmers   The Whole Rams Team   Jared Cook– #13 Ranked TE Cook was the 3rd highest scoring tight end last week but I want to make it clear…do not play him. He had one big play, one week. The three weeks prior to last week’s game he scored; 1,1 and 2 points. The Rams offense is struggling and the tight end position is no...

Week 11 – Denver Broncos Fantasy Forecast

Denver Broncos (7-2) at St. Louis Rams (3-6)   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notable: Peyton Manning- #1 Ranked QB, Emmanuel Sanders- #9 Ranked WR and Demaryius Thomas- #3 Ranked WR   Julius Thomas– #4 Ranked TE You can finally take a deep breath and a sigh of relief because Mr. Julius Thomas is back! He was the 2nd highest scoring tight end last week with 18 points, which came from 63 yards and 2 touchdowns. St. Louis is pretty darn good at defending tight ends, 8th best in fact, but we have a feeling that Julius will do just fine.     Gut Calls C.J. Anderson and Montee Ball– #19 Ranked RB and #30 Ranked RB With Hillman’s injury last week, we saw C.J. Anderson go off for a fantastic game. Anderson was the 3rd highest scoring running back with 22 points which makes the back field an even more murky situation than before. Hillman was running lights out and should have been the starting back but even with his stellar performance there was nervousness around Montee Ball coming back. Now it seems as if we will have a 50/50 split between Montee Ball and Hillman for the coming weeks and a 50/50 split with Anderson this week. It is getting murky people…very murky.       Bench Warmers Ronnie Hillman– Not Ranked RB Hillman went out of last week’s game with a foot injury and is expected to miss 2...

Week 11 Waiver Wire Adds, Running Backs Edition

We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 11 waiver wire adds, running backs and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. How is it that we are heading into Week 11? It seems like just yesterday that I (Bobby Koch)was writing preseason articles, and now here we are. The fantasy playoffs are drawing near, and some of you are still in contention to bring home that fantasy title. Let’s try to help you find that waiver wire or sleeper running back who will lead your fantasy football team’s victory parade or help you claw your way into the playoffs. Good luck in Week 11 RotoBallers.   Fantasy Football Running Backs (RB) – Week 11 C.J. Anderson (RB, DEN) – 4% owned on Fleaflicker Man, Montee Ball really picked a bad week not to be able to come back. Ronnie Hillman went and got himself injured (just like all people who held onto Ball for this long were hoping). By the way, if you were holding onto Ball in a non-dynasty format may I ask why? Anyways, in the absence of Hillman, C.J. Anderson really showed up for the Broncos. What do I mean by really showed up? Oh well, he just rushed 13 times for 90 yards and caught four receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. You know, no big deal. Even if Hillman is able to go next week, I’d expect the Broncos to go with the hot hand in C.J. Anderson. The return...

Week 10 – Denver Broncos Fantasy Forecast

Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notables: Peyton Manning- #2 Ranked QB, Emmanuel Sanders- #11 Ranked WR, Demaryius Thomas- #3 Ranked WR and Julius Thomas- #3 Ranked TE   Ronnie Hillman– #8 Ranked RB There was some concern over Hillman’s injury that he would not be used much but that was not the case. He was the 8th highest scoring back and has now scored an average of 15 points per game. His status is a little murky with the possible return of Montee Ball. Hillman has proved to be the more consistent back and better ball handler but you never know what an organization will do. Check you reports the day of the game to make sure you don’t have an issue on your hands.   Denver Broncos Defense– #2 Ranked DEF Last week was brutal with a -1 score but this week should be vastly different since they are playing the Raiders who give up the 5th most points to Defenses. The Broncos defense is really quite good so wash away last week’s memories from your mind and look forward to some turnovers this week.       Gut Calls None     Bench Warmers Any Broncos Running Back Not Named Ronnie Hillman– One week Juwan Thompson comes in to relieve the workload. The next week C.J. Anderson has a slightly better score. They get about the same amount of touches so it’s not worth playing either of them…even if your desperate.   Wes Welker– #52 Ranked WR I don’t think that you need a reason to bench Welker but in...
