Week 9 – Denver Broncos Fantasy Forecast

Denver Broncos (6-1) at New England Patriots (6-2)   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notable: Peyton Manning- #2 Ranked QB, Emmanuel Sanders- #5 Ranked WR and Demaryius Thomas- #3 Ranked WR   Ronnie Hillman– #7 Ranked RB It is starting to become clock work that Hillman puts up double digit points. He rushed for 109 yards and scored you 12 points. He is a must start this week again as the Patriots give up the 5th most points to running backs. He hurt his shoulder in practice and was limited on Wednesday but he was able to stay on the field for the most part which is encouraging. If the shoulder injury is worse than we think, than he might lose out on some touches to Juwan but he is still a start as he is the workhorse for the team.     Gut Calls Julius Thomas– #3 Ranked TE If you are a Julius Thomas owner, you have been pulling your hair out the last few weeks. Thomas has scored only 2 points the past two weeks and have only caught a total of 6 passes. Other than week one in which he got 104 yards, he has been averaging 37 yards, which means if he doesn’t find the end zone you are only getting 3 points. Ouch.   Juwan Thompson– #34 Ranked RB If you are hurting in your Flex role because the guys on the bench that you consider each week are filling your starting spots, with six teams on bye, give Juwan Thompson a thought. Hillman is questionable this week which means that even...

Week 8 Denver Broncos Fantasy Forecast

San Diego Chargers 5-2 at Denver Broncos 5-1 Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notable: Peyton Manning, Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas Ronnie Hillman Montee Ball should be panicking right now. Hillmans has scored 11 points and 21 points last week as a starter. He was the 3rd highest scoring running back and looks fantastic. Montee Ball certainly did do anything to solidfy his position as the starter. Having only scored a total of 23 points in 4 games, only 2 points more than Hillman’s one game against the 49ers. The Chargers have allowed 237 yards to opposing running backs in the past two weeks. Coming off a 2 touchdown game, this looks very promising. Julius Thomas  Thomas had a terrible game last week scoring you only 2 points. To say that you were disappointed would be an understatement. The Chargers have given up the 3rd fewest points to tight ends but Thomas should bounce back week this week. Put last week out of your mind.   Gut Calls Broncos Defense  Do I feel good about putting the Broncos defense in this week? Nope…sure don’t. The Chargers are a power house offense and have given up the 2nd fewest points to defenses this year. The offense that has give up fewer points to defenses is…you guessed it, that Broncos. With that said, I keep telling you the bench the Broncos when they have had some not favorable match-ups and they keep putting points up on the board. They were the 7th highest scoring defense last week so perhaps they will surprise us again this week. Wes Welker Welker might...

Fantasy Football Her Way: The Peyton Manning Edition on ESPNW

If you listen to our show, you know that we are big, bad Broncos homers. So when our friends over at ESPNW asked if we could do a Peyton Manning Edition considering he beat the all-time touchdown record, we were more than happy to oblige. Sometimes when you cover fantasy, people will accuse you of losing passion for your home team. Nothing can be farther from the truth for us. But don’t worry, we worked in some fantasy relevant content. Fantasy Football Her Way: Manning...

Week 7 – San Francisco 49ers Fantasy Forecast

San Francisco 49ers (3-2) at Denver Broncos (4-1) Due to a major technical difficulty I, Brandon, was not able to go in and post this on my own. Luckily, my sister Ashley copy and pasted my show notes so that something was here, rather than nothing. However, I went in a edited the Week 7 San Francisco 49ers Fantasy Forecast so it would make grammatical sense. Thanks for reading. Denver gives up the 12th most fantasy points to QBs 17th most poins to RBs 3rd fewest points to WRs 13th most points to TEs absolute least points to DEFs   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em  Phil Dawson – #8 Ranked K Do not ignore your kicker. If you don’t want to play with a kicker, don’t. But if you have to play one, then make it count. Dawson is averaging 10 points per game and he’s completed four 50+ yard kicks – the most in the league. The 49ers will need all the points they can get in Denver and you can look forward to some long kicks in the thin air from Dawson.   Colin Kaepernick – #8 Ranked QB Kaepernick does well in good match ups and he’ll have to keep up with Denver so there is a good chance that he will score a lot of fantasy points. Last week was his best week yet. At St. Louis he threw for 343 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for an additional 37 yards. That’s awesome.   Gut Calls Anquan Boldin – #33 Ranked WR He’s the only consistent receiver on the team. Last week he caught...
