New Orleans Saints (2-3) at Detroit Lions (4-2) New Orleans Saints Lions give up the absolute least fantasy points to QBs 8th fewest to RBs absolute least to WRs 16th most to TEs 12th most to DEFs Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em No one. YOU HEARD ME! Gut Calls Drew Brees I didn’t like Brees in Detroit to begin with considering they give up the absolute least fantasy points to QBs, but I hate Brees in Detroit without Jimmy Graham. Just to give an update, Ian Rappaport reported that Graham will be out until the first weekend in November. Ouch. And let’s not mince words, Brees has not played the way we all envisioned in 2014. He’s coming off a bye, so you can hope that he will be well rested, but the week before the bye he threw 3 interceptions at home and almost lost to Tampa Bay. In fact, he’s thrown 6 interceptions to 9 touchdowns so far this year. Brutal. Mark Ingram jo He is the running back in the Bayou that I will endorse. Before his hand injury that kept him out for 4 weeks, he averaged 82.5 total offensive yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game. Hopefully he can maintain those numbers. Welcome back. Bench Warmers Detroit’s Defense is brutal, so I would bench everyone on the team. All of the other Running Backs played well last week against Tampa Bay, but with the return of Mark Ingram and a fabulous defense, I’m sure you have better options. Also, Detroit gives up the absolute...

Detroit Lions (4-2) vs New Orleans Saints (2-3) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Lions Defense – #9 Ranked DEF The Lions defense continues to impress being the top scoring defense last week racking up 20 points. That is more than most quarterbacks scored last week! The Lions have scored the 2nd most point thus far this year so you are always playing them. Yes, they are playing Drew Brees but Jimmy Graham is not expected to play this week so they will not be facing a full strength Saints. Golden Tate – #10 Ranked WR I know he blew it for you last week. We are sorry about that but I am still sticking with my guy with Calvin Johnson out. The Saints have a horrible defense, the 4th worst secondary in fact, so this should be a bounce back week for Mr. Tate. Gut Calls Matthew Stafford – #12 Ranked QB Matthew Stafford owners out there are greatly feeling the pain of Calvin Johnson’s absence. Stafford seems to be a completely different quarterback with Megatron to lean on. He ahs only scored 11 point each of the last 2 weeks which makes Stafford owners want to pull their hair out. He resides in the Gut call section instead of the bench for the pure fact that the Saints give up the 7th most points to opposing quarterbacks and he still has Golden Tate to throw target. Joique Bell– #16 Ranked RB Bell had a good week last with the absence of Reggie Bush. He rushed for 74 yards, a touchdown and had...

Every week we go match up by match up and tell you who your must starts, gut calls and bench players are for the game. We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good match up for one of your questionable players. This week in particular we go off on a few rants. Let the fun begin....

Detroit Lions 3-2 at Minnesota Vikings 2-3 Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Lions Defense The Lion’s defense was the 9th highest scoring DEF last week and the 3rd highest scoring DEF over all this year. You don’t bench these guys, especially when they are playing a team that gives up the 5th most points to defenses. Golden Tate Tate was the 5th highest scoring WR last week scoring 19 points off 134 yards and a touchdown. As predicted, Golden Tate is benefitting from Johnson’s injury, now being the top receiver on the team. This week should be no different and the Vikings have a weak secondary that he should be able to pick apart. Gut Calls Matthew Stafford Let’s be honest, you probably don’t have anyone better to play than Stafford but I want to temper your expectations of this this week. He only score 10 points last week and threw for only 1 TD and only 221 yards, his fewest of the season. He doesn’t have his safety net of Calvin Johnson and the Vikings allow the 10th fewest points to QB. Don’t expect magic from him this week. Matt Prater Prater was dropped by the Broncos; which was a shocking move, so expect Prater to want to come out and prove something. He was a top kicker in the league and has a very strong leg so the Lions could not be happier right now after their kicker woes this season. Bench Warmers Calvin Johnson Plain and simple, Johnson is hurt and not himself. He scored 0 points last week and...

Detroit Lions 3-2 at Minnesota Vikings 2-3 Week 6 – Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Forecast Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em None. Minnesota is a very hot and cold offense. Detroit is a very hot defense. Gut Calls Matt Asiata – 21st Ranked RB Last week he got you 5 points. This week he is facing Detroit and they are tougher against the run then Green Bay. I would start Asiata over any other Viking. Asiata is a boom or bust player. If he continues on his fantasy path he would have a good week this week. Cordarrelle Patterson – 34th Ranked WR Patterson doesn’t really deserve to be ranked at all with the numbers he has put up in the last four weeks but hell Minnesota needs him if they want to win. Detroit is awesome against the pass so I wouldn’t bet on this to be his bounce back week. I would continue to bench him until week 7 or 8. Jerick McKinnon – 38th Ranked RB Bench Warmers Teddy Bridgewater – 24th Ranked QB Bridgewater says he is 100% healthy. Well that is nice but his matchup is not. Detroit gives up the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. That is any quarterback not just a backup, injured Rookie who has very little weapons that have been affective. Greg Jennings – 61st Ranked WR...
