Aaron Rodgers and company have been some of the most consistent fantasy options this year and even though the Patriots will test them, we are banking on their talent to carry them through in the Week 13 Green Bay Packers Fantasy Forecast. New England tied for giving up the 19th most points to QBs 12th most points to RBs 4th fewest points to WRs tied for 9th most points to TEs 2nd fewest points to DEFs Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Aaron Rodgers – #1 Ranked QB You’ll hear some talk about how the Vikings held Rodgers in check and someone might suggest that the Patriots will attempt to do the same. Sure. But this is a home game and Aaron Rodgers is the man. In a game in which he “struggled” he threw for 209 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 34 yards. He’s fine. He’s great. But the Vikings are feisty which is pretty nice considering the season they’ve had. Eddie Lacy – #6 Ranked RB Lacy carried the ball 25 times last week, which what a season high. He went for 125 yards and a touchdown. He’s great. He’ll be fabulous against the Patriots who give up the 12th most points to RBs. Minnesota gives up the 8th fewest fantasy points to QBs 8th most points to RBs 14th most points to WRs the absolute least points to TEs 6th most points to DEFs Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Eddie Lacy – #5 Ranked RB Most improved player of the year. At first, he seemed sluggish and old school – not in a good way. He still isn’t getting a lot of carries, but he’s making the most of it. Also, he’s getting involved with the passing game. So, in Rodgers we trust and that’s reflected in the Week 11 Green Bay Packers Fantasy Forecast. Philadelphia gives up the 4th most points to QBs 15th most points to RBs 3rd most points to WRs 2nd fewest points to TEs 6th fewest points to DEFs Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em You obviously start Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Eddie Lacy – #8 Ranked RB You also start Eddie Lacy. I was wrong about him. The team has gone back to leaning on him like they did last year so after a slow start, he’s a-ok. Gut Calls Davante Adams – #53 Ranked WR Davante Andams only caught 1 pass for 10 yards last week because the Packers went with a 2 tight end set to attack the heinous Bears defense. Both Bostick and Quarless scored a touchdown. I don’t think that’s the norm, and I think Adams will get more playing time with the Eagles. He went from playing 96% of the snaps to 56%. I think they’ll go with somewhere in the middle and the Eagles will force Rodgers to distribute the ball. Andrew Quarless – #27 Ranked TE So, on the other “maybe” train, Quarless is an option, a bad option, but at least now I will officially call him an option.
