We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 16 waiver wire adds, running backs and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. If you’re reading this article, then many of your fantasy football teams are heading into the fantasy football championships. Or maybe you are fighting for that 3rd place finish, or just not to come in last place. Either way, it’s never too late to improve your fantasy teams, especially with the running back injuries out there. I (Evan) am here to break down some waiver wire running backs who might be sleepers or viable starts for your fantasy football teams, players that can help you win your fantasy playoffs and get you to the promised land. The list isn’t as long as most weeks, but this is it folks. If you’ve gotten this far, then there probably isn’t much left for you to do with your teams. Let’s get started. Fantasy Football Running Backs (RB) – Week 16 Playoffs Joseph Randle / Lance Dunbar (RB, DAL) – 10% / 27% owned on Fleaflicker Well, this couldn’t have come at a worse time for DeMarco Murray fantasy owners. Even with a broken bone in his hand and a mild surgery today, I’m still expecting him to play. However, he’s not the quickest healer, as his injury history has shown, so Joseph Randle becomes the top priority add for any fantasy owner this week, regardless of whether you own Murray. The Cowboys play the Colts this week, who have struggled mightily at...

Jacksonville Jaguars 2-11 at Baltimore Ravens 8-5 Oh, Jacksonville… Another huge injury makes this team the least lucky in the land. This game has some nice match ups, so there is some optimism in the Week 15 Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Forecast. Baltimore is tied giving up the 6th most points to QBs the absolute least points to RBs tied for the absolute most points to WRs 19th most points to TEs tied for 3rd fewest to DEFs In sad news, breakout kid, Denard Robinson, is out for the rest of the season with a mid-foot sprain. Another blow. Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em None. Gut Calls Marquise Lee and Allen Hurns – #37 and #76 Ranked WRs Baltimore is tied for giving up the absolute most points to Wide Receivers. Last week Hurns caught 5 of his 10 targets for 36 yards and a touchdown. Marqise Lee caught 5 of his 8 targets for 67 yards. The week before it was Lee who had the touchdown. I’m worried about this team this week, but there is a possibility that one or both of them will have a nice game in the best match up they will have all year. Bench Warmers Blake Bortles – #29 Ranked QB Good match up, bad match up… it doesn’t matter. Bortles has thrown at least one interception in every game but 1. Also, losing Denard Robinson for the season means they are down one more relative playmaker. This game could get ugly. Cecil Shorts – #54 Ranked WR I think he should be ranked below Hurs because since the Week 11 bye he’s...

If you’re reading this, chances are good you’re still alive in your fantasy football playoffs. If so, congratulations! Now is not the time to fall asleep on the waiver wire. Your team can ALWAYS be better, so let’s get to this week’s wide receivers. Below I will take a look at some Week 15 wide receiver waiver wire pickups and sleepers, based on their current ownership numbers and fantasy outlooks. Each week of the fantasy football season, I’ll also give you a bonus player to avoid (usually someone who might be a popular pickup that I disagree with). Fantasy Football Wide Receivers (WR) – Week 15 Charles Johnson (MIN)—Owned in 8% of Fleaflicker leagues Cordarrelle who? Johnson has sneakily become the number one passing option for the Minnesota Vikings, as he has definitively earned Teddy Bridgewater’s trust. Johnson has produced a 15-283-2 line over his last four games, and has become a viable PPR option. Most importantly is that he’s leading the team in targets by a healthy margin, meaning the opportunities are going to be there. If you are desperate in the playoffs, you could do worse for sure, but temper your expectations for Week 15 as the Vikings take on the fierce Lions defense. Baller Move: Add in all PPR leagues/deep standard leagues Chris Hogan (BUF)—Owned in 3% of Fleaflicker leagues Hogan is most...

Houston Texans 6-6 at Jacksonville Jaguars 2-10 Houston gives up the 11th fewest points to QBs 17th most points to RBs tied for absolute most points to WRs tied for 2nd fewest points to TEs 12th fewest points to DEFs Finally, Blake Bortles went an entire game without an interception! First time all season! Yay! The Giants are easy. The Texans are not, so don’t expect a repeat. On that note it looks like my preseason favorite is finally healthy and the favorite target for Borltes. Marqise Lee caught six of his eight targets for 75 yards and a touchdown. If you are desperate – and like I’ll say all week, if you are in the playoffs that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but still Lee can be a flier in daily formats expecially considering Houston is tied to give up the absolute most points to WRs. Denard Robinson had another tough game last week. He actually wasn’t bad, but he wasn’t used. He carried the ball 11 times for 44 yards and caught three of his four targets for 10 yards. Mostly his lack of use was because the Jaguars scored two defensive touchdowns and Bortles could throw accurately. Houston is middle of the road against RBs so I’m not sure how to feel. The Jacksonville defense has improved drastically since Week 3 and hasn’t been in the negative numbers since then. Since their Week 11 bye they have at least four sacks and three fumble recoveries in both games. It’s all about if you think Fitzpatrick is more likely to repeat his awesome performance or...
