Week 14 Waiver Wire Adds Wide Receivers Edition

We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 14 waiver wire adds, wide receivers and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. This is it RotoBallers, it’s do-or-die time. Whether you’ve already clinched and are preparing for the fantasy football playoffs or are looking for a wide receiver boost to sneak into your lineups, you can always use some help off the waiver wire. Below, I (Evan) will examine some Week 14 wide receiver waiver wire pickups and potential playoff sleepers, based on their current ownership numbers and fantasy outlooks. Good luck hitting that waiver wire for Week 14 RotoBallers. Fantasy Football Wide Receivers (WR) – Week 14 Kenny Stills (NO) – 48% owned in Fleaflicker leagues If anyone needed further proof that Kenny Still was going to benefit from Brandin Cooks absence, then this Sunday’s game gave them just that. One of the most explosive players in the NFL right now, Kenny Stills absolutely lit up Ike Taylor and the Steelers for 162 yards, including a 69 yard touchdown.  After last week”s dominant PPR performance, the evidence is there that Stills will be a bonafide WR2 the rest of the way, as he’s provided a spark to the offense that Marques Colston can’t offer at this point in his career. He has perhaps the easiest fantasy playoff schedule of any receiver with the Panthers, Bears and Falcons.  With his explosive playmaking ability, there’s a chance he finishes as a top 10 receiver in the playoff weeks.   Donte Moncrief...

Week 13 Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Forecast

New York Giants 3-8 at Jacksonville Jaguars 1-10  The bad versus the bad… but that could mean more fantasy points that usual. This is the kind of game that only true blue fans and fantasy players have any interest in watching. And that’s fine. We’re looking for the good in the Week 13 Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Forecast. New York Giants are tied for the 6th most points to QBs 3rd most points to RBs 18th most points to WRs 5th most points to TEs tied for 13th most points to DEFs   INJURIES (and a big part of the problem): Cecil Shorts – Probable, hamstring Jordan Todman – Probable, quad Blake Bortles – Probable, wrist Marqise Lee – Probable, ankle   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em  Denard Robinson – #14 Ranked RB He’s allowed one bad game, okay? Let’s call calm down. Indy was ticked off last week and stopped the run. He carried the ball 14 times for 25 yards and caught four passes for 47 yards. And he lost a fumble. He will bounce back against the Giants who give up the 3rd most points to RBs.   Gut Calls Wide Receivers – All Marqise Lee had the best outing last week by catching three of his five targets for 52 yards. Everyone else had less than 20 yards and no touchdowns. That means that none of the Jaguars were starters, but against the Giants someone could break out. It’s nice match up, but without my favorite, Allen Robinson, I don’t have much confidence. Marcedes Lewis – #28 Ranked TE We know it didn’t work out last week,...

Week 12 Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Forecast

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9) at Indianapolis Colts (6-4) Oh, man. We do not love the struggling Jaguars versus the angry Colts, but we try to stay optimistic in the Week 12 Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Forecast. Indianapolis is tied for 10th most points to QBs tied for 4th most points to RBs 9th least points to WRs 3rd most points to TEs 3rd fewest points to DEFs   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Did you know that Toby Gerhart has only scored 32.9 fantasy points all season? And did you know that he’s the 7th highest scored player on the team? Are you scared? Denard Robinson – #10 Ranked RB I call Denard Robinson and Justin Forsett the “season savers.” Since Week 7, he’s either gone over 94 yards or he’s scored 2 touchdowns. In over words – ballin’ Indianapolis gives up the 4th most points to RBS!!! Maredes Lewis – #14 Ranked TE He should be higher in the ranking. I would start Marcedes Lewis! I know it’s his first time back, but the Colts give up the 3rd most points to Tight Ends and before he got hurt, Lewis was the #1 target in Jacksonville. Tight Ends are extremely difficult this year, so he is worth a flier. Gut Calls Our friend – yeah, I said friend – Allen Robinson, was place on IR due to a broken foot. The rookie that I LOVE is gone. Sad. Allen Hurns Questionable with a concussion. Cecil Shorts Probably with hamstring. Marqise Lee is Probable with an ankle. Not a great match up, 9th least to WRs, but I would pick...
