Every week we go match up by match up and tell you who your must starts, gut calls and bench players are for the game. This week we spiced it up a bit and talked about our Holiday wishes. We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good match up for one of your questionable players. Let the fun...

Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5) vs Kansas City Chiefs (8-6) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Ben Roethlisberger– On paper this is not the best match up for him. The Chiefs actually give up the 8th fewest points to quarterbacks so this won’t be a cake walk. With that said, Big Ben is the 6th highest scoring QB in the league this season and you don’t bench a top 10 guy. You guys, don’t do it, especially when they are surrounded by the likes of Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. Stick with your guys. Le’Veon Bell– Come on now; don’t tell me you were even thinking about not playing him. That would be crazy. I don’t care that the Chiefs give up the 10th fewest points. Doesn’t concern me one bit. Antonio Brown– Same goes for Brown. Some guys you don’t even bother looking at match ups with and he is certainly one of them. Gut Calls Health Miller– Keep riding the train my friends. As we mentioned last week as not supposed to be a great match up for him but we said you should consider him anyway. Well 68 yards off 4 catches is pretty darn good in tight end land. He has been consistent the past 4 games so like we said, keeping riding the slightly hotter than luke warm tight end train with the Health bar. Bench Warmers Markus Wheaton and Martavis Bryant– Now just because we are not looking at the match up for Antonio Brown doesn’t mean that we do not look at match ups for these two guys....

Kansas City Chiefs (8-6) at Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Jamaal Charles– Charles went out of the game last week with a knee/ankle injury and did not return partially due to them winning and the Chiefs not wanting to risk it. He was limited in practice Wednesday so keep you eye on him as he is listed as questionable. If I had to guess I would guess he will play. Travis Kelce– Well I said he was as close as it gets for a must start last week so he is going to officially get the green light go this week. I hope I didn’t just jinx him. He was the 7th highest scoring TE last week with 59 yards off 5 catches and a touchdown. He is Alex Smith’s target in the end zone and the Steelers haven’t been impressive against tight ends. Should be a good match up. Gut Calls Knile Davis– Davis has a great game last week but that is because Charles was out after an injury. Davis will have no real fantasy value to you if Charles does play, but if Charles is held out, than he is a great handcuff. Alex Smith– Okay Jay Cutler owners out there… with Cutler getting the bench, you might be looking for another QB and Alex Smith might just be the best answer for you. He has a great match up this week with the Steelers giving up the 6th most points to opposing QBs and he was the 4th highest scoring QB last week. He also...

by Ashley Williams | Dec 14, 2014 | Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders
Kansas City Chiefs (7-6) vs Oakland Raiders (2-11) Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Jamaal Charles– #3 Ranked RB Charles was the 4th highest scoring running back last week with 91 yards off 10 rushes and 1 TD and the 6th highest RB scorer of the season. Charles is questionable and is suffering from a swollen knee but he should play on Sunday. The Raiders are horrible at stopping the run so it should be a playground for Charles. Gut Calls Travis Kelce– #10 Ranked TE I pretty much can’t put any tight end into a play’em if you got’em category but Kelce is close this week. The Raiders are subpar at holding tight ends at bay and Kelce had a nice week last week with 110 yards on 7 catches. He is as close as it gets to a must start people. Bench Warmers This is my favorite write up to do because it takes me all of 2 seconds to write. There are virtually no fantasy options on this team other than Jamaal Charles and Travis Kelce when he decides to show up. Everyone else is on the...
