How is it that we are heading into Week 11? It seems like just yesterday that I (Bobby Koch)was writing preseason articles, and now here we are. The fantasy playoffs are drawing near, and some of you are still in contention to bring home that fantasy title. Let’s try to help you find that waiver wire or sleeper running back who will lead your fantasy football team’s victory parade or help you claw your way into the playoffs. Good luck in Week 11 RotoBallers. Fantasy Football Running Backs (RB) – Week 11 C.J. Anderson (RB, DEN) – 4% owned on Fleaflicker Man, Montee Ball really picked a bad week not to be able to come back. Ronnie Hillman went and got himself injured (just like all people who held onto Ball for this long were hoping). By the way, if you were holding onto Ball in a non-dynasty format may I ask why? Anyways, in the absence of Hillman, C.J. Anderson really showed up for the Broncos. What do I mean by really showed up? Oh well, he just rushed 13 times for 90 yards and caught four receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. You know, no big deal. Even if Hillman is able to go next week, I’d expect the Broncos to go with the hot hand in C.J. Anderson. The return...

Miami Dolphins at Detroit Lions Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Lion’s Defense– #8 Ranked DEF The Lion’s defense is the 4th highest scoring defense in the league which makes them a must start, even against a hot Tannehill right now. Gut Calls Joique Bell– #19 Ranked RB Bell is in the gut call section for a combination of reason. First, he didn’t play all that well in week 8 against a less than tough Falcons team but before that he scored 15 and 11 points so it’s a toss up. Secondly, Reggie Bush will be back which means that Bell will be splitting touches which puts his possible production into question. Lastly, the Dolphins are a beast of a defense and are giving up the fewest yards per play in the NFL with 4.7 yards, Moral of the story is the Dolphins are legit and Bell is a risky start at best. Calvin Johnson– #4 Ranked WR It has been long few weeks for Calvin Johnson owners out there and when you hear that he is coming back you want to rejoice. Well…hold on there. This is the not the match up you were hoping for. The Dolphins have only allowed 5 total touchdowns all season long. They are tough folks. Johnson is expected to have limited touches so while I know it will be hard you might want to wait on him for a week. Golden Tate– #22 Ranked WR Tate has been on fire and has been the go-to while Johnson has been out. The tough part is with Johnson’s expected return...

Miami Dolphins at Detroit Lions Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Miami Dolphins Defense– #10 Ranked DEF Here is the deal, you generally don’t play a defense against the Lions because the Lions are capable of offensive greatness, but the Dolphins have been on fire so why not play them. When a team can score 20 points against the team that gives up the 2nd fewest points to defenses than you should have no worries about playing them. You don’t bench the top defense in the league especially when they have put up 46 points the past 2 weeks. Lovin’ on the Dolphins defense right now. Gut Calls Miami Wide Receivers– This is what Mike Wallace owners were hoping wasn’t going to happen. They got all cozy with Tannehill practically solely targeting Wallace but now he is spreading the wealth around to Landry and Rishad Matthews who each have 2 touchdowns a piece since the bye week and neither had scored before the bye week. Wallace also has a pair of touchdowns since the bye week but he hasn’t found the end zone since week 7. No one could be mad at you for holding off on Wallace until you see if this tide will turn. Lamar Miller– #15 Ranked RB Miller is usually in the must start category but he sprained his AC joint in his shoulder which makes him slightly less of a given. He is reportedly going to play this week but he will likely not be as productive as he could be. The Lions have a very tough line so if...

Every week we go match up by match up and tell you who your must starts, gut calls and bench players are for the game. We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good week for one of your questionable players. We were in the midst of traveling to New York so there is no Thursday night game analysis this week but listen to the rest of the match ups for your line-up decisions. Let the fun begin....

Where Week 8 saw plenty of explosive performances from wide receivers, but fantasy scoring seemed to be a bit down in Week 9. Whether you got the production or not, chances are you could use some help in the wide receiver category. So let’s get to it! Below I (Bill Dubiel) will take a look at some Week 9 wide receiver waiver wire pickups and sleepers, based on their current ownership numbers and fantasy outlooks. Each week of the fantasy football season, I’ll also give you a bonus player to avoid (usually someone who might be a popular pickup that I disagree with). Good luck in Week 10 RotoBallers. Fantasy Football Wide Receivers (WR) – Week 10 Mike Evans (TB) – Owned in 52% of Fleaflicker leagues I’m saying it—Mike Evans is the new number one in Tampa Bay. For those keeping score at home, that’s four touchdowns in Evans’ last four games, and he looked positively dominant in Week 9, putting up a 7/124/2 line. Vincent Jackson isn’t completely irrelevant, but he is no longer the clear-cut top option on that team. This is a guy who has the physical talent to be a top 10 wide receiver someday, and it could be as soon as next year in my opinion. I have Evans locked in as a top-20 WR for the rest...

I (Bobby Koch) was on vacation last week, but you survived with Evan Okulanis’s great stand-in piece on the best waiver wire running backs for week 9. Not to fear though! I have returned in week 10 to bring you my weekly list of running back sleepers as well as a weekly dose of bad jokes. It’s pretty late in the season but let’s see what we can dig up that might still be available on your waiver wire for week 10 and beyond shall we? Fantasy Football Running Backs (RB) – Week 10 Bobby Rainey (RB, TB) – 58% Owned on Fleaflicker Much to the delight of fantasy managers and probably the Buccaneers, Doug Martin found himself inactive for this game. Coincidentally, the very young exciting rookie back who has drawn comparisons to Matt Forte named Charles Sims was supposed to come off the IR and dominate the league. Unfortunately for those speculating on Sims, the Bucs didn’t quite trust giving the duty of starting over to someone who has never even had a touch in the NFL. So who would come to save the day for owners like myself who were in bye week and injury hell? None other than Bobby Rainey who has been featured in this article many times before. The Rain Man brought the thunder against the Browns (told you the bad...
