Week 10 – Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Forecast

Pittsburgh Steelers at New York Jets   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Ben Roethlisberger– #3 Ranked QB It has been two weeks in a row that Big Ben has been the highest scoring quarterback. Ben has hit his stride and has been sky rocketing up the rankings, moving up into the 3rd highest scoring spot. All signs point to another fantastic week as the Steelers will be playing the Jets who give up the most points to quarterbacks. Expect big things from Ben.   Le’Veon Bell– #7 Ranked RB Bell is a must start but you already know that. What is really interesting is that Bell is a top 5 running back this year but he has only rushed for 1 touchdown this season. The rest of his touchdowns all come from passes. Bell is the perfect new age hybrid player and exactly what you should look for when drafting; he is defense proof and that makes him a huge commodity.   Martavis Bryant– #26 Ranked WR Bryant has played 3 games and has scored 5 touchdowns and scored an average of 15 points. Those numbers are beyond impressive. Big Ben has found something bright, shiny and new and he likes it. The Jet’s secondary is less than impressive so Bryant’s incredible run should continue this week.   Antonio Brown– #2 Ranked WR What is really exciting is that Brown is still the workhorse on the team but now corners need to also focus on Bryant or Wheaton freeing up Brown a bit. You might think that Ben’s infatuation with his new toy would be a problem for...

Week 10 Waiver Wire Adds, Wide Receivers Edition

We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 10 waiver wire adds, wide receivers and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. Where Week 8 saw plenty of explosive performances from wide receivers, but fantasy scoring seemed to be a bit down in Week 9. Whether you got the production or not, chances are you could use some help in the wide receiver category. So let’s get to it! Below I (Bill Dubiel) will take a look at some Week 9 wide receiver waiver wire pickups and sleepers, based on their current ownership numbers and fantasy outlooks. Each week of the fantasy football season, I’ll also give you a bonus player to avoid (usually someone who might be a popular pickup that I disagree with). Good luck in Week 10 RotoBallers.   Fantasy Football Wide Receivers (WR) – Week 10 Mike Evans (TB) – Owned in 52% of Fleaflicker leagues I’m saying it—Mike Evans is the new number one in Tampa Bay. For those keeping score at home, that’s four touchdowns in Evans’ last four games, and he looked positively dominant in Week 9, putting up a 7/124/2 line. Vincent Jackson isn’t completely irrelevant, but he is no longer the clear-cut top option on that team. This is a guy who has the physical talent to be a top 10 wide receiver someday, and it could be as soon as next year in my opinion. I have Evans locked in as a top-20 WR for the rest...

Week 9 – Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Forecast

Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) vs Baltimore Ravens (5-3)    Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Le’Veon Bell– #4 Ranked RB Will this week be Le’Veon Bell’s best week…probably not. The Ravens give up the fewest points to running backs so it will be a tough battle on the line. The good news is that Bell has great hands and is incorporated into receiving plays often so he should still be able to get you points. Bell is a top 5 back so you never bench him.   Antonio Brown– #1 Ranked WR We say it every week but we will say it again. Antonio Brown is a must start. He is the top receiver in the league by 18 points over Demaryius Thomas. He scored 25 points last week off 133 yards and 2 touchdowns, thank you very much! He will be looked to a lot since the Ravens secondary is the weakest part of their defense.   Gut Calls Martavis Bryant– #45 Ranked WR Bryant has had 2 solid back to back weeks. Two weeks ago he scored 10 points and had a touchdown and last week he scored 20 points, and had 2 touchdowns. He also doubled his yardage week over week. He is establishing himself as a solid WR2 option in Pittsburgh and might have some fantasy value for you as well in a Flex or WR3 role.   Ben Roethlisberger– #9 Ranked QB Let’s be clear, last week was a freak week and probably will be the highest fantasy scoring game all year long but Ben Roethlisberger has been creeping his way up the standings all season...

Week 8 – Indianapolis Colts Fantasy Forecast

Indianapolis Colts 5-2 at Pittsburgh Steelers 4-3   Week 8 – Indianapolis Colts Fantasy Forecast   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Andrew Luck – 3rd Ranked QB Luck had another solid performance in Week 7. It was his 6th game with over 300 yards passing. Luck is a Must Start every week.   Ahmad Bradshaw – 19th Ranked RB This could be a huge week for Bradshaw. Richardson went down last week’s shutout against the Bengals and is listed as Questionable for Week 8. He will be used even more on the ground. He did fumble last week but came right back in and did his job. Pittsburgh isn’t the best stopping the run.   T.Y. Hilton – 7th Ranked WR Hilton had his third game of the season with over 100 yards. He is really starting to get into his groove and Luck is trying to get him the ball.   Dwayne Allen – 6th Ranked TE Dwayne had his 5th touchdown of the season last week and added 52 yards. This is a great matchup for Allen. Pittsburgh gives up the 9th most fantasy points to Tight Ends. Really enjoy him on my roster. He is only owned in 32% of leagues and he is the 7th highest fantasy scoring Tight End. Pick him up for gods sake and play him.   Gut Calls   Trent Richardson – 28th Ranked RB As I said, Richardson went out with a groin injury last week and has yet to practice. If he misses this game it will be his first since 2012. If he plays I don’t see him getting a lot of work. Not...
