Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1) at Carolina Panthers (2-0) This game could be a lot of fun to watch and has the potential to be an extremely frustrating game for Pittsburgh fantasy owners. The Panthers have an amazing defense but the Steelers have a little bitterness left in the tank that might lend itself to a very interesting game this week. I think the Steelers play better than you would think and that you will be fine playing your starters. Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Antonio Brown- #7 Ranked WR Brown is one of the receivers that you don’t even consider taking out of your games. Ben loves him and targets him the most, we love him and you should love him too. Brown had 18 points in week 1 and 10 pints in week 2. Yes the Panthers have a very stout secondary but Brown is an exceptional receiver and will still be able to garner you points. Gut Calls Le’Veon Bell- #9 Ranked RB Yes, Bell is in the gut call section because he is going up against the Panthers who are very good at stopping the run. What should give you some encouragement is that Le’Veon Bell is a very good receiving back so he should still get some decent yardage. Expect around 9 points again for week 3 production. Bench Warmers Ben Roethlisberger- #25 Ranked QB Roethlisberger only scored 6 points against the Ravens who give up the 7th fewest points to QBs. The Panthers give up the 11th fewest points so there probably won’t be a whole lot of improvement off the...

Every week we go match up by match up and tell you who your must starts, gut calls and bench players are for the game. We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good match up for one of your questionable players. Let the fun begin....

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens This game could be pretty intense whether it’s a good game or not with all the scandal that comes with it. The Steelers looked better expected last week and the Ravens looked worse than expected. Put those two together and it could be a very interesting game. Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notable: Antonio Brown- #7 Ranked WR Le’Veon Bell- #9 Ranked RB Can you say BOOM! Bell was on fire last week breaking off for a few nice runs. Bell was the 2nd highest scoring RB with 109 yards off 21 attempts and 1 touchdown racking up 24 fantasy points. While these numbers are impressive, it doesn’t begin to reflect how stellar he looked out on the field. Expect another big week from Bell. Gut Calls Ben Roethlisberger- #11 Ranked QB Everyone has pretty much ruled Ben out as a fantasy starter for a few year now. Well…it might be time to rethink that notion if you are in a deep league. He went 23 of 34 for 365 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT and scored 16 points making him the 12th highest scoring QB for the week. No, I am not saying that the will be toward the top every week but he would be worth a nod for the start on a good match up. He scored more points than Drew Brees, Nick Foles, Philip Rivers, Tom Brady, Tony Romo and Aaron Rodgers to name a few. Markus Wheaton- #42 Ranked WR Wheaton had a nice little game last week, which was especially unexpected since...

This week’s show ran a little long due to having to address the Ray Rice indefinite suspension and what seems to be an NFL cover-up. After we talk about the elephant in the room we go match up by match up and tell you who your must starts, gut calls and bench players are for the game. We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good match up for one of your questionable players. Let the fun...
by Ashley Williams | Sep 7, 2014 | Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns I might be optimistic, but hopefully this will be a good, down and dirty game. Either one of two things will happen; the announcers will be focused on the actual players on the field, or you can set a game up where you have to do something every time Johnny Football is mentioned. Let’s be honest, you can do both but I am really hoping the Browns have created a bit more synergy and that the Steelers will be a much improved team from last year. Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Notable: Le’Veon Bell- #13 Ranked RB Antonio Brown- #9 Ranked WR Brown got targeted heavily in 2013 and the offensive strategy will not change in 2014. While it has been rumored that Dri Archer might take over the punt returner responsibilities… this is simply not the case. Brown will still be the special teams magic man and this only adds more value to an already top receiver in the league if you settings reward the player for the points and not just the Defense. Gut Calls Notable: Ben Roethlisberger- #17 Ranked QB Markus Wheaton- #48 Ranked WR Wheaton is really complicated because he is the WR2 on the team but struggled throughout the entire preseason to develop a chemistry with Roethlisberger. Does this mean that it will never develop, of course not. Should it make you hesitate a bit about starting him week 1, yes. If you have a better option start him and take this game to just watch Wheaton and see if him and Big Ben are connecting. ...
