Every week we go match up by match up and tell you who your must starts, gut calls and bench players are for the game. We can’t cover every player but we should be able to answer those burning questions as to whether or not this is a good match up for one of your questionable players. Let the fun...

Denver Broncos 10-3 at San Diego Chargers 8-5 This game is a little hard to figure out. On one hand, it will be a tough divisional match up. On the other, both of these teams have been all over the map when it comes to game plans so it’s hard to know who will get the fantasy points. We try to work in all out in the Week 15 San Diego Chargers Fantasy Forecast. Denver gives up the 6th most points to QBs 5th fewest points to RBs 11th fewest points to WRs 8th most points to TEs the absolute fewest points to DEFs Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em Philip Rivers – #9 Ranked QB Probable (chest) Rivers is having an odd second half of the season but Denver gives up the 6th most points to QBs. He’s a borderline starter because it’s a nice match up and the talent is there, but he’s thrown an interception in each of his last three games. Ryan Mathews – #27 Ranked RB Questionable (right ankle/leg) His health is always a problem. Last week Donald Brown was the highest scoring Running Back, but Mathew’s injury came before the end of the first half. If he gets healthy, great. But he was held out of Wednesday’s practice and they had to play quite a bit of the season without him, so watch the injury reports. Also, the Broncos give up the 5th fewest points to Running Backs so this wasn’t an ideal match up to begin with. Keenan Allen – #24 Ranked WR Is there a Wilson on Revis Island? I certainly hope so because it is...

New England Patriots 9-3 at San Diego Chargers 8-4 New England gives up the 17th most points to QBs 12th most points to RBs 5th fewest points to WRs 9th most points to TEs 2nd fewest points to DEFs I’m going to give you conflicting information. On one hand, New England is a tough team and I believe their losing to Green Bay will inspire them into the next week. On the other, San Diego and specifically Rivers is magic in December. They beat up Baltimore last week – fantasy wise. Philip Rivers – 383 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception and 19 rushing yards. Nice. Keenan Allen –caught 11 of his 15 targets for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns. Eddie Royal – back from the dead, caught 9 of his 10 targets for 81 yards and a touchdeown. Ryan Mathews – carried the ball 12 times for 40 yards and a touchdown and caught a pass for 6 yards. Malcom Floyd caught 3 of 6 targets for 85 yards. Antonio Gates – caught 7 of 8 targets for 83 yards It’s going to be hard to bench these players. If I look at the match up numbers without the December facts clouding my judgement, Ryan Mathews is the best play since the Patriots give up the 12th most points to RBs (although they’ve been better lately). New England gives up the 9th most points to Tight Ends and Tight Ends are terrible so start Gates. Pats are mediocre against QBs so Rivers a gut call New England gives up the 5th fewest points to WRs, so they’re a risk. Allen the least risky of the...
