Week 6 – Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Forecast

Carolina Panthers 3-2 at Cincinnati Bengals 3-1   Week 6 – Carolina Panthers Fantasy Forecast   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Giovani Bernard – 5th Ranked RB   Great match up for Bernard! Carolina has given up the seventh most fantasy points to running backs. Last week Bernard did not give you what we wanted but the Carolina’s rush defense is not the Patriots rush defense. With Green out Dalton will be relying on Bernard even more. Play him!   AJ Green – 6th Ranked WR   Injury Report! AJ Green was carted off the field Wednesday in practice and will be sitting out this Sunday. Make sure to take him out of your lineup.   Mohamed Sanu – 39th Ranked WR   Hey Sanu! You are it. With Marvin Jones still out there is nobody else. Carolina is not the best against wide receivers so play him and feel good about it. Even with Green in last week Sanu had 70 yards and a touchdown.   Cincinnati DEF – 5th Ranked DEF   Gut Calls   Andy Dalton – 12th Ranked QB   Great matchup ALERT! Carolina gives up the tenth most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Dalton has yet to have the numbers he had last year but on a positive note he has only had 1 interception this year. Dalton will have a harder time having fantasy starter numbers with Green out.   Jeremy Hill – 33rd Ranked RB   Could be a good week to start Hill as your flex. The last time Green was out, Hill scored over 15 points. Carolina has given up the seventh most...

Week 6 – New England Patriots Fantasy Forecast

New England Patriots 3-2 at Buffalo Bills 3-2   Week 6 – New England Patriots Fantasy Forecast   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Rob Gronkowski – 6th Ranked TE   Gronkowski had his third week this season in double-digits and got his fourth touchdown of the year. The biggest news of all this week is that he is not listed on the injury report. He is sure to see even more snaps this week. Buffalo gives up the tenth fewest fantasy points to tight ends but they haven’t been up against a healthy Gronk yet.   Julian Edelman – 22nd Ranked WR   Edelman had his second game in a row with less than 40 yards and no touchdown. It appears that defenses have figured him out. He is still a great wide receiver and I think he will have better numbers against Buffalo who are better covering tight ends and running backs.   Stephen Gostkowski – 1st Ranked K   Gostkowski had 21 points last week. He has had double-digits in every game but the disaster in Arrowhead. Must start every week.   Gut Calls   Stevan Ridley – 24th Ranked RB and Shane Vereen – 27th Ranked RB   The backs is New England have shown nothing other then being unpredictable. Both Vereen and Ridley had double-digit fantasy points last week in the Patriots huge victory over the Bengals. Don’t expect that from either one of them this week against Buffalo that give up the third fewest points to running backs.   Timothy Wright – 14th Ranked TE   Buyers beware. Wright had a great game last week...

Week 5 – New England Patriots Fantasy Forecast

Cincinnati Bengals 3-0 at New England Patriots 2-2   Well… at least there is a lot of season left. Find out who to start and sit in Week 5 – New England Patriots Fantasy Forecast.   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em     Rob Gronkowski – 10th Ranked TE   Gronk is perhaps the lone bright spot for the Pats offense this week. The man is yet to have a real breakout game and we don’t think that it’s coming this week. However, if the Pats score, he will most likely be in on the action. Don’t bench your studs, start Gronk.   Stephen Gostkowski – 6th Ranked K   He’s the best kicker in the NFL. Tom Brady even made him look bad last week. He will do better this week.     Gut Calls   Julian Edelman – 22nd Ranked WR   You have to like Edelman as a solid WR2 based solely on the volume of work he gets. The man is a PPR machine and even though he is playing against one of the NFL’s better defenses, anything can happen when he touches the ball.   Shane Vereen – 25th Ranked RB and Steven Ridley – 31st Ranked RB   Trying to start a Belichick RB is like trying to juggle jello, it is a mess. To start with, you never know who will get the ball. What seals the deal this week is that the Bengals are very hard to run on, currently giving up the 8th fewest to opposing fantasy RBs. Stay clear of Vereen and Ridley this week.     Bench Wamers   Tom Brady...

Week 5 – Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Forecast

Cincinnati Bengals 3-0 at New England Patriots 2-2   There is so much talent for the Bengals. Who should be in you lineup against the Patriots? Find out in Week 5 – Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Forecast.   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Giovani Bernard – 11th Ranked RB Giovani Bernard gets his shot at the Patriots Defense that is currently giving up the 5th most points to opposing fantasy RBs. One thing that scares me about teams that are likely to get blown out is that your studs get shut down and their production ends before the game is over. So if you weren’t part of the initial scoring, good luck. What makes Bernard’s situation so good is that there is a very good chance that Cincy will blow out the Patriots. So he’ll get touches when the game is close and he’ll get touches when the game is a blowout.   AJ Green – 12th Ranked WR There are two concerns with Green with week. First, he’s not 100 percent healthy. Second, he’s facing off against CB Darrelle Revis. No one here is saying that Revis is the shut down CB he once was, and that even if he was he could shut down a talent like Green, but rather the injury and matchup causes some concern. The reality is that if you own him and he’s playing, you start him. Period.   Cincinnati’s Defense – 2nd Ranked DEF Last week Tom Brady and the Pats offense looked terrible. One way teams try to get things back on track is to run the ball, but unfortunately for...

Week 5 – Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Forecast

Minnesota Vikings 2-2 at Green Bay Packers 2-2 Hopefully this won’t be another bad Thursday Night Game. Will any of the Vikings be fantasy worthy against the Packers? Find out in Week 5 - Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Forecast.   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Matt Asiata – 12th Ranked RB   They will be running! I would play almost any running back playing against Green Bay’s weak line. The Packers give up the fourth most fantasy points to running backs and Asiata is no joke. They loved giving him the ball in the red zone last week against Atlanta. Minnesota will be using both Asiata and McKinnon who had 135 yards rushing last week. McKinnon is the stronger runner but has trouble doing his other jobs on the offense like blocking and catching. Asiata is a must start and McKinnon is a gut call.   Gut Calls   Greg Jennings – 54th Ranked WR   Jennings is not a player you are playing because of his potential of having a huge game but he is the guy you play because he is consistent and usually good for seven points. If he gets a touchdown then he is a very nice play indeed. He has only one touchdown this year and I wouldn’t expect him to get his second this week when Minnesota will be running.   Jerick McKinnon – 35th Ranked RB   Blair Walsh – 14th Ranked K   Bench Warmers   Cordarrelle Patterson – 36th Ranked WR   Patterson has a total of 13 receptions for the year for 181 yards with one rushing touchdown in Week 1. Last week...

Week 4 – New England Patriots Fantasy Forecast

New England Patriots 2-1 at Kansas City Chiefs 1-2    Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   Julian Edelman – 10th Ranked WR Edelman has a way about him to make the Patriots look good again. Unfortunately they are not looking at him in the end zone where they really need him. Edelman can make his own moves but if Brady doesn’t get the ball down field there is a point that Edelman can’t get pass. Luckily that point is pretty high.   Rob Gronkowski – 7th Ranked TE Gronkowski increased his snap counts by over 10% last game and they put him in just in time to catch their only touchdown against the Raiders. Gronk will only get more targets as he stays in longer.   Stephen Gostkowski – 2nd Ranked K Three weeks in a row that Gostkowski had double-digit fantasy points. He hasn’t missed a kick yet and is Mr. Reliable on the Patriots.   New England DEF – 3rd Ranked DEF   Gut Calls   Tom Brady – 16th Ranked QB It is amazing that Brady is not a sure bet against a team that has a struggling defense and on a week there are six other teams on byes, but those are the facts. Brady has almost as many fumbles as touchdowns thus far in 2014. He has rushed for negative yards and can’t seem to connect with his receivers past 10 yards. He looks rusty and his receivers minus Edelman look bad. Kansas City should give up some points for Brady but will this game be one that New England beats themselves? Probably. Kirk Cousins has way more...
