Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Fantasy Forecast – Week 10

Miami Dolphins 4-4 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-8

Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

Mike James

#14 Ranked RB

Does your running back throw for a TD pass mid-air?  No?  Well, then you must not own Mike James.  We like this guy.  He’s a tough runner and he’s only going to improve.  He rushed for 158 yards, caught 2 balls for 8 yards, and passed once for 2 yards and a TD.  That’s one versatile guy.  Miami gives up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing RBs, so watch the points roll in.

Vincent Jackson

#17 Ranked WR

Look for a bounce back game against Miami.  Last week he couldn’t win the match up in Seattle against Brandon Browner, but Miami doesn’t have that same advantage.  More than anything, Glennon continues to play great football and he’ll want to use his best weapon.  He’ll catch more than two passes next week.  Promise.  Pinky swear.  If not, we’ll have to re-evaluate.

Tim Wright

#8 Ranked TE

The Dolphins have given up the 3rd most fantasy points to TEs and there is an undeniable chemistry between Glennon and Wright.  Last week he caught 4 passes for 58 yards and a TD.  He’s only 13% owned in Yahoo leagues, so go get him!

Gut Calls

Mike Glennon

#15 Ranked QB

Stop sleeping on Glennon!  The only reason he’s in the gut call section (and not a must start) is because if you have a stud QB, he’s not worth a pickup.  However, if you’re a Rodgers owner, or if you’ve been playing the match-ups, Glennon is a consistent option.  Last week, in Seattle, he threw for 168 yards, 2 TDs and rushed for an additional 13 yards.  Since his first game in Week 4, he’s never scored below 15 fantasy points.  Love.  Him.

Bench Warmers

Rian Lindell

#17 Ranked K

Here is your friendly reminder that kickers do actually get you points.  Rian’s total fantasy points equal HALF of Stephen Gostkowski.  You need every point you can get.  Please check the available players in your league and pick up one of the following Kickers: Crosby, Prater, Bailey, Hauschka, Succop, Vinatieri, Hartley.  Gostkowski and Folk are on a bye, but they are worth a stash or you need to pick them up quickly next week.  And you’re welcome.  We just got you extra points.

Each week the ladies of Her Fantasy Football provide written fantasy analysis and commentary on our brother site, www.Cover32.com.  Please go over there and check out all the exciting new things that group has to offer in regards to league news.  They provide in-depth analysis, team by team, giving the fans a closer look at the teams they love.
