Davis is a real threat to anyone he plays. For a TE to have 20 and 30 point fantasy games, and not be Jimmy Graham, means that he is a must start every week. The 49ers don’t have any real threats at WR so they use Davis all the time. Carolina gives up the 17th most fantasy points to TEs. Carolina will need to step up their game if they plan on stopping Davis.
Frank Gore
#11 Ranked RB
Gore is coming off a bye so he should be well rested, but so was Rice last week and we saw what happened there. Carolina gives up the 8th fewest fantasy points to RBs. Gore is one of the best at what he does and should be able to break free enough to get you 10 fantasy points this week. We wouldn’t expect much more. He is a must start because if you bench him he will blow up and you probably don’t have anyone better.
Gut Calls
Colin Kaepernick

Kaepernick had one great fantasy game followed by five bad games. The last two weeks before his bye he had over 20 points. One of those games was against the Jaguars so there is that. Carolina gives up the fewest fantasy points against QBs. Carolina seems to be on a hot streak and although we love teams coming off byes, this might not be Kaepernicks’ week to score over 20 points again. We expect this game to be low scoring due to two great defenses.
Bench Warmers
Anquan Boldin

What a sad year for Boldin. He had only two great games and the other seven were bench material. Carolina gives up the 2nd fewest points to WRs. Sorry Boldin, you are benched!
