New Orleans Saints – Fantasy Forecast – Week 11
San Francisco 49ers 6-3 at New Orleans Saints 7-2
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Drew Brees
#1 Ranked QB
Brees threw for 392 yards and 4 TDs last week against the Cowboys. The Cowboys defense is awful, unlike the 49er’s defense. Brees most likely won’t have points in the 30’s but should have a better game than Cam Newton did last week. Brees should never be benched.
Jimmy Graham
#1 Ranked TE
So Graham wasn’t in the game much last week since it was a blowout. They didn’t need him and it wasn’t worth aggravating his injury. Why not rest the guy if you can? Fantasy Football!! This week will not be a blowout against a very good defense so Graham will be needed. The only time you bench Graham is if he isn’t playing at all.
Gut Calls
Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles, and Mark Ingram
#18 Ranked RB, #27 Ranked RB, and #47 Ranked RB
Thomas, Sproles, and Ingram were three of the top five scoring RBs last week. Why not start all of them? The San Francisco defense. One or two of them will most likely score, but we don’t know whom. We like Thomas over the others but this is a real flip of the coin. We won’t tell you to bench them and if you are in a PPR league Sproles and Thomas are must starts. New Orleans game plan is always a mystery.
Marques Colston, Kenny Stills, and Lance Moore
#26 Ranked WR, #44 Ranked WR, and #58 Ranked WR
Colston looked great coming back from his injury. He had 107 yards and a TD. Stills had 75 yards and 1 TD while Moore didn’t look as good coming back from an injury with only 1 target for 14 yards. We like all of them but if Stills doesn’t catch a long pass against the 49ers defense then his worth goes down considerably. Moore might get more short passes this week, increasing his worth. Again, the Saints are a mystery.
Bench Warmers
None.
