Houston Texans – Fantasy Forecast – Week 14

Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

Ben Tate

#21 Ranked RB

You are nervous because he has been limited in practice, but don’t be. Yes, he is hurt, but he has been hurt for weeks now and he still goes out there and crushes it in Foster’s absence. Tate was limited in practice last week before the Patriots game and came out and scored the most fantasy points out of all RBs in the league. The fact he will go up against a defense that gives up the 9th most fantasy points to opposing RBs should give you extra encouragement.

Andre Johnson

#7 Ranked WR

Johnson only scored 3.6 fantasy points two weeks ago against the Jaguars. That is a little concerning, but you shouldn’t bench your stars and that is what he is. If you take that week out of the equation, he scored 40, 15, 11 and 12 fantasy points. Those are great numbers so plan on him having another great week. After all, the Texans did put up a good fight against the Patriots.

Gut Calls

DeAndre Hopkins

#48 Ranked WR

We don’t love this option, but if the Jaguars shut Johnson down Hopkins will be the beneficiary. Last week Hopkins was targeted five times and caught two passes for 77 yards. Seemingly, he and Keenum haven’t found a good groove so only start him if you have no other options and as a Flex.

Bench Warmers

Case Keenum

#12 Ranked QB

More than likely you are in the playoffs right now so you shouldn’t be thinking about rocking the boat and that is exactly what you would be doing by starting Keenum. Stick with the guys that got you here.
