Washington Redskins – Fantasy Forecast – Week 15
Washington Redskins at Atlanta Falcons
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Pierre Garcon
#18 Ranked WR
Garcon hasn’t had a TD since Week 10 and since then his points have gone down. Week 11 – 7.70, Week 12 – 4.80, Week 13 – 4.10, Week 14 – 3.70. This is a good match-up for him with Atlanta giving up the 16th most fantasy points to WRs. We have Garcon as a top WR2 this week but he is playing through a lot of drama in Washington and no named starter for QB. It is hard to feel good about this game.
Alfred Morris
#9 Ranked RB
Three of the last five games Morris scored under 10 fantasy points. There is something weird going on in Washington and they have abandoned the run. Morris rushed fewer times than the backup Broncos RB, Montee Ball. Atlanta does give up the 6th most fantasy points so if Morris is going to have a comeback game this would be it. You probably have to play him due to matchups but no one feels good about Morris.
Gut Calls
Kirk Cousins was officially named the starter in Sunday’s game so there’s too much uncertainty as to what this offense will do. In the playoffs you want reliable fantasy production. You won’t find that here.
Bench Warmers
Jordan Reed
#17 Ranked TE
It has now been three weeks not playing for the sure to be rusty Mr. Reed. Not only is Washington a hot mess but Reed hasn’t been able to play after suffering a concussion in Week 11. A concussion that has been a problem for so long does not make us feel confident that he will make it through the entire game Week 15, if he plays at all.
