Denver Broncos Extend Elway’s Contract And Add GM To Title

John Elway can do it all and the Denver Broncos know just that. Not only did President Joe Ellis rip up the last year of Elway’s contract and gave him another four years, but he also added GM to Elway’s title.

After a disappointing end to an amazing season for the Broncos, Elway should know exactly where they need improvements and be ready to pay for it. I can only imagine Elway at Dove Valley getting down to business before the draft.

Rumors are flying that Eric Decker will most likely be leaving the Denver Broncos to be a #1 receiver somewhere that can afford to pay him around $9 million. With Manning being able to make any receiver look good, I hope Elway and the Broncos spend more money on the defense.

Congratulations to John Elway. We hope that this relationship with the Denver Broncos as VP and GM is as memorable as when Elway played Quarterback for them.

The most famous employee in team history, Elway has received a three-year contract extension from the Broncos while also tacking on the title, “general manager” to his current position of executive vice president of football operations, according to an NFL source.
