Week 7 New York Jets Fantasy Forecast

Week 7 New York Jets Fantasy Forecast

New York Jets 1-5 at New England Patriots 4-2

Rex Ryan seems to game plan well against the Patriots. He really likes to get under Bill Belichick’s skin. The Week 7 New York Jets Fantasy Forecast doesn’t think a Jets suprise win is likely, but you might get needed some fantasy points.

Patriots give up the 3rd fewest fantasy points to QBs

13th most points to RBs

5th fewest points to WRs

11th fewest points to TEs

13th fewest points to DEFs

Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

Eric Decker – #39 Ranked WR

When he’s healthy, Decker is a must start. Last week he caught six of 10 targets for 54 yards and a touchdown. He sat out one game due to injury and had one other game with less than four receptions when he re-aggravated his hamstring injury in Week 3. Other than that, he’s not Peyton dependent and you should play him.

Gut Calls

Chris Ivory – #22 Ranked RB

The Patriots defense is weakest against the run, so there is a chance that Ivory will bounce back. But man… last week he only rushed 7 yards on 8 attempts and caught 1 pass for 14 yards. That is hideous.

Jace Amaro – #17 Ranked TE

Coming out party for Amaro last week! He caught 10 or 12 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown. If he had a better Quarterback situation we would feel better about him, but if you need a Jimmy Graham fill in you can consider Amaro. The Pats give up the 11th fewest points to TEs, but Amaro has caught three or more passes in every game starting Week 3.

Bench Warmers

Geno Smith – #30 Ranked QB

He’s thrown at least one interception in every game. Last week he threw two touchdowns for the 1st time this season against Denver, but it’s hard to be optimistic with the Patriots giving up the 3rd fewest fantasy points to opposing Quarterbacks.

Chris Johsnon – #42 Ranked RB

You dropped Johnson, right? Over the last two weeks he’s averaged 16.5 yards rushing and 0 receiving yards. There are a lot of upside running backs out there and you should get them instead.
