Kansas City RB Jamaal Charles Just Fine – Practicing In Full
As much as I would love for everyone to freak out and let Jamaal Charles fall to me in every draft, I have to tell you, he’s fine.
He’s more than fine. He’s a top RB1. Yeah, someone stepped on his toe. It hurt. And since he’s the best player on the team and it’s early in OTAs they had it x-rayed. It came back negative. He went back to practicing in full. End of story. Only reason why this is a story: it’s June.
But while we’re on the topic, I have some good news:
Andy Reid is not going to make the mistake of under utilizing the team’s best talent.
WHY, ROMEO??? WHY??? ** shouted by all Charles owners last year **
Imagine the Minnesota Vikings not using Adrian Peterson. People would be outraged. Well, that’s what happened last year in Kansas City when Romeo Cornell decided he’d get creative. Listen, the great part of having a guy like Charles is that you don’t have to be creative. He’s a beast. And Andy Reid wants to utilize Charles more in the passing game. Think LeSean McCoy circa 2011.
Fantasy owners, don’t try to get cute like our man, Romeo. Don’t ask questions. This guy is for real. Draft with confidence. Play weekly.
