New England Patriots – Fantasy Forecast – Week 11

Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

Steven Ridley

#24 Ranked RB

Belichek must have heard our rants. It’s about time he stopped being so stubborn because when Ridley is given the chance he plays well and opens up options for other players and more offense. Ridley has scored 6 TDs and scored double-digit fantasy points in each of his last four games. The Panthers give up the 5th fewest points to opposing RBs, but Ridley should still muster up some points.

Rob Gronkowski

#2 Ranked TE

The one place the Carolina Panthers defense is slightly weak (and by weak we mean they are the 13th best in the league) is in defending TEs. This is the one silver lining for Brady as he and Gronk should be able to connect for some points this week.

Steven Gostkowski

#1 Ranked K

You know the drill, you start him, no questions.

Gut Calls

Tom Brady

#11 Ranked QB

Feel good about the fact that not only are we mentioning him, but also we upgraded him from bench player to gut check. Yes he scored 33 fantasy points two weeks ago before the bye.  And yes, things are looking better this second half of the season with Gronk back, but he will go up against a very, very tough Panthers defense that allows the fewest points to QBs. Be excited about him, but you might want to wait to give him back his starting spot on your roster until next week.

Aaron Dobson

#32 Ranked WR

Dobson had two very nice back-to-back weeks before the bye, scoring 12 fantasy points and then 25 fantasy points. He would be in our must starts section if Carolina didn’t have such a great secondary.  And by great, we mean the Panthers are the op secondary in the league.

Bench Warmers

Patriots DEF

#13 Ranked DEF

While the Patriots Defense won’t perform terribly, they also won’t be amazing. Cam Newton hasn’t been consistently great, but he will probably perform well in the Monday Night Lime Light. If Cam lights up, the Patriots defense will mess up your fantasy team’s score. This game has a big warning label on it.
