Pittsburgh Steelers – Fantasy Forecast – Week 11
Detroit Lions 6-3 at Pittsburgh Steelers 3-6
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Le’Veon Bell
#12 Ranked RB
Bell continues to grow and we love his solo back status. Last week he rushed 22 times for 57 yards and 1 TD. He also caught 3 passes for 39 yards. Detroit is okay against the run, but nothing to write home about, so look for another solid week of production from this promising rookie.
Antonio Brown
#9 Ranked WR
Play him because he’s consistent and Detroit gives up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing WRs. Enough said.
Gut Calls
Ben Roethlisberger
#13 Ranked QB
Roethlisberger scored over 20 fantasy points exactly one time so far this year. However, if you’re in a 2 QB league, he’s fabulous, because he’s almost always in the top 20. He’ll score you between 10-16 fantasy points. If you’re hesitant to start one of the backup-now-starters or you’re just done with the Geno Smiths and Colin Kaepernick’s of the world, he might be your guy. Consistency counts for something, and he will have to pass to keep up with the ferocious Lions offense. Trade rumors or no, he’s solid. Not sexy, but solid.
Jerricho Cotchery
#49 Ranked WR
You play him for the TDs. He’s scored at least 1 TD in four of the eight games he’s played this season. It seems like he replaced Heath Miller as an end zone target. He might be worth the risk especially against Detroit’s weak secondary.
Bench Warmers
Heath Miller
#13 Ranked TE
Another week, another sad fantasy performance for Heath Miller. Nothing against the guy, but last week he caught one pass for 6 yards. Why is he even on your bench?
