Green Bay Packers – Fantasy Forecast – Week 12
Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Jordy Nelson
#8 Ranked WR
Nelson’s stock has certainly gone down with Aaron Rodgers out but he was able to still score you 11 points last week off of 117 yards. Also good news is that he caught 8 out of 9 passes thrown his way. This is encouraging. The Vikings give up the 11th most points to opposing WRs so that should also be very encouraging to you.
Jarrett Boykin
#29 Ranked WR
Boykin has had a good couple weeks raking in 11 points two weeks ago and 9 points last week. If he can find his way into the end zone, you would have a great week from this guy. He has been targeted an average of 7 times the last couple weeks so that is also good news. Like we mentioned before: the Vikings corners certainly aren’t the best in the league so expect Boykin to have another good game for you.
Eddie Lacy
#6 Ranked RB
Lacy hasn’t had the best couple of weeks, but they also haven’t been pulling your-hair-out-bad, either. The Vikings have the 6th worst rush DEF in the league so this should be the week that Lacy bounces back and gets back on track. This kid is a beast, stick with him.
Gut Calls
You are playing your studs and benching everyone else. There isn’t any gut Calls for the Packers.
Bench Warmers
Scott Tolzien
#25 Ranked QB
It should go without saying that you aren’t playing Tolzien, but let’s drive the point home. He scored you 8 points and had 3 INTs. Those are not the kind of stats you are looking for from your starting QB. Not even close.
Packers DEF
#15 Ranked DEF
You are looking at this match-up and thinking, well they are playing the Vikings…should compute to a lot of points. Well… not necessarily. The Packers DEF is very beat up and have only scored 8 points combined in the last 3 weeks. You have better options.
