Pittsburgh Steelers – Fantasy Forecast – Week 13

Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

Antonio Brown

#7 Ranked WR

Fantasy owners want to send this guy a thank you note. He racked up yet another stellar week against the Browns by catching six passes for 92 yards and one TD. Look for much of the same this week. Baltimore’s secondary won’t stop him.

Gut Calls

Le’Veon Bell

#25 Ranked RB

Each week Bell will get the work. Last week he rushed 23 times for 80 yards and caught two passes for 18 yards. He’s not flashy, but he’s solid.  Unfortunately, Baltimore gives up the 3rd fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs, so Bell is a gut check. You’ll probably play him, but expect modest, albeit steady results.

Ben Roethlisberger

#17 Ranked QB

Roethlisberger has been pretty great lately. With the super-duper performances from Brown, and the solid presence of Bell, Roethlisberger continues to improve and his fantasy owners love it. However, the last time these two teams played each other Big Ben only scored 12.90 fantasy points and only passed for 160 yards and one TD. These two teams hate each other and it’s usually a blood bath, but that’s not necessarily a good thing for your fantasy team.

Emmanuel Sanders

#42 Ranked WR

Last week Sanders caught six passes for 52 yards and one TD. He struggled with a foot injury, so it was nice to see him healthy and happy. But he was a boom or bust receiver prior to his injury, so look for much of the same.

Pittsburgh Defense

#19 Ranked DEF

Last week the Pittsburgh Defense punished the Browns and scored 23 fantasy points. Baltimore does give up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing DEFs, but the last time these two teams played each other the Steelers only scored two fantasy points. Gut call.

Bench Warmers

Jerricho Cotchery

#69 Ranked WR

Holy zero catches, Batman! What a way to end a streak of three games with at least one TD! We can’t tell you to start a player when they zeroed out the week before, but Baltimore is less scary against the pass than the run and this guy could easily go back to his TD ways. He’s a serious gamble that you probably can’t take this close to the fantasy playoffs.

Heath Miller

#20 Ranked TE

Functional. Safety valve. Probably a nice guy. Those are all lovely things in the real world, but in fantasy football land, he continues to leave us wanting more. Last week he caught five passes for 41 yards against the Browns. This week he’ll probably yield the same results.  It is what it is.
