Adrian Peterson and the Vikings agree to restructure his contract

After an off season with many (not us here at Her Fantasy Football) believing that Adrian Peterson would not be a Viking in 2015; the Vikings and AP have agreed on a long term contract. It looks like AP will not only be a Viking for 2015 but will sticking around for another three years. After the announcement of the mutually agreed upon deal, Peterson said, “I appreciate the Vikings for working together on this restructured contract, which provides additional security for me but also allows opportunities for me to further prove my value to the team and within the NFL”. He then continued with, “It was important for me to continue my career in Minnesota, and I cannot wait to get on the field in front of Vikings fans again.” Link to...

Veteran Fred Jackson favorite for No. 2 RB job

Sleeper alert! Make no mistake, RB LeSean McCoy will get an unbelievable amount of work in Buffalo, but Jackson continues to endure. Last year he only played 14 games, but rushed for 525 yards and two touchdowns along with catching a career-high 66 passes for 501 yards and a touchdown and didn’t lose a fumble. Jackson’s durability and worth continues to be understated. Get him late in your draft. Link to...

Philadelphia Eagles 2014 Fantasy Highs and Lows

Philadelphia Eagles 10-6 Welcome to the NFC East Week and the Philadelphia Eagles 2014 Fantasy Highs and Lows. Every week we will go division by division breaking down each team. This write up was practically rendered useless when Chip Kelly decided to throw caution to the wind and pull some crazy off season moves. But still, this team deserves a year-end roundup like the rest of them. Do know that this is not the article where we talk about the DeMarco Murray, Sam Bradford and Ryan Mathews additions. The analysis for the team looking forward will come out after the NFL Draft. Highs: Jeremy Maclin Earns a NFL Contract Even with the Quarterback uneasiness (which did slow him down in the later half of the year), Maclin still finished out the season with 85 catches for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s only 26 years old and based on talent he would be worth a long look in 2015 fantasy drafts (especially with a healthy starting Quarterback, sorry Marky Mark). However, his new Quarterback is Alex Smith and new team is the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City famously went all season in 2014 without a touchdown scored by a Wide Receiver. We will have to assess his boom or bust potential once we get a better idea of his Average Draft Position, but for now, congrats to Maclin for getting an $11 million per year contract. Jordan Matthews Shows Promise Matthews ended up one of the few members of the 2014 Eagles that will stay on the roster in 2015. During his rookie season, Maclin caught 67 passes for...

New York Giants 2014 Fantasy Highs and Lows

New York Giants 6-10 Welcome to the NFC East Week and the New York Giants 2014 Fantasy Highs and Lows. Each week we will go division by division breaking down each team. Highs:  Odell Beckham Jr. ODB!!! Is there anyone else on this team to talk about? He was Offensive Rookie of the Year. He finished his Rookie year fifth best Wide Receiver and that is with missing the first four games. He is a freak in the best way. No one can forget his catch against Dallas where he caught the ball horizontal with three fingers. Seven out of his twelve games he had 15 or more points. They say he only averaged 12.3 fantasy points but if you take his total and divide it by 12 it was actually 16.4, more then the other four in front of him. I can’t say enough about this kid, he is amazing. Eli Manning There are no questions we were all worried about Eli Manning before the 2014 season started. Not only was he recovering from an ankle injury but for the first time in his 10 years in the NFL, he was learning a new offense that was nothing like what he was familiar with. Even with those obstacles, Manning had 4,410 yards passing, 30 touchdowns, and a QB Rating of 92.1. Those are his best stats since 2011. With a year under Ben McAdoo’s offense, Manning should only be better in2015. Lows: Victor Cruz My low for the Giants was Victor Cruz’s injury. When he went out in Week 6 with a torn right patellar tendon there were...
