New Orleans Saints – Fantasy Forecast – Week 13

Cover32LogoNew Orleans Saints 9-2 at Seattle Seahawks 10-1

Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

Drew Brees

#3 Ranked QB

The Seahawks are currently giving up the 2nd fewest fantasy points to QBs, which might scare Brees owners. You’re starting Brees in this game because you always start your studs. The Seahawks have only faced 3 QBs in the top 15 this year. Brees steps up and finds a way to reward fantasy owners for their loyalty.

Jimmy Graham

#2 Ranked TE

You’re starting Graham because you always start Graham. However, the size and strength of the Seahawks cornerbacks could slowdown the best TE in the league. Graham is a freak! Every week he is a threat to go off.

Gut Calls

Pierre Thomas

#21 Ranked RB

Last week against the Falcons, Thomas looked awesome. He is averaging almost 15 fantasy points in last three games. Thomas shows up in “Gut Calls” because the Seahawks defense is crazy good. But with Graham and Stills stretching out the defense, Thomas will have room to run.

Kenny Stills

#63 Ranked WR

The Seahawks cornerbacks are scary, and hopefully covering Colston and Graham leaving Stills open for the deep ball. When you look at the top three WR performances against the Seahawks this is what you see: Cecil Shorts III with 14.3 points, T.Y. Hilton with 26 points and Jarius Wright with 18.9 points. The one thing they all have in common: SPEED. Kenny Stills is exactly the type of WR that has proven successful against the Seahawks defense. We like Stills more then the other WR options.

Marques Colston

#34 Ranked WR

Colston has been a fantasy disappointment this year, scoring 10 fantasy points or more only two times. He’s scored a combined 12 points in the last two games and now he gets the 4th best pass defense in the league. With Seattle and their suspension, Colston has a chance to redeem himself.

Washington Redskins – Fantasy Forecast – Week 13

New York Giants 4-7 at Washington Redskins

Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

Alfred Morris

#18 Ranked RB

Overall, Washington had a very tough game against the 49ers last week, which we predicted along with others. Morris was held to 52 yards rushing and no yards receiving. Good thing for Washington, the Giants are not as good defensively. The New York Giants give up the 10th fewest fantasy points to RBs and they have gone against some of the best RBs in the League. Morris will need to be a bigger part of the passing game if the Redskins want to win this one.

Pierre Garcon

#13 Ranked WR

RG3 is having the sophomore slump for sure. This does not help out his WRs like Garcon. He had 48 yards receiving last week. He wasn’t given many opportunities to obtain yards after the catch. The Giants give up the 11th fewest fantasy points to WRs this year. At some point Garcon and RG3 will find their chemistry. This might be the game.

Gut Calls

Robert Griffin, III

#11 Ranked QB

RG3 was not the comeback kid last week. We were all ready for “Garbage Man” to get us our fantasy points in the last quarter but the points never came. He ended the day with 127 yards passing, 22 yards rushing and one INT. He has the chance to put up some real fantasy points this week against the Giants that give up the 16th most fantasy points to QBs.

Jordan Reed

#7 Ranked TE

Reed was out Monday with a concussion and no word yet whether he will return to face off against the Giants. If he plays we suggest playing him, too. New York gives up the 9th most fantasy points to TEs. Keep an eye on the injury report.

Bench Warmers

Santana Moss

Not Ranked WR

Just in case you were getting desperate, Moss is not your option. One game over 10 fantasy points (10.10, to be exact), one game over seven points, one game over five points and eight games under five points, all in the last eight games.
