It’s always difficult to start a fantasy player in Seattle.  It’s brutal in that place.  But we feel like even though the Bucs haven’t gotten in together the way that their fans would like, they are putting up some consistent fantasy numbers

This week, we made some gut calls on Vincent Jackson, Mike James, Tim Wright and Mike Glennon.

Gut Calls

Mike James
#25 Ranked RB
The numbers weren’t great (39 rushing yards and 25 receiving yards), but if you watched the game, James put up a pretty decent fight against the nasty Carolina defense.  Unfortunately, he goes up against Seattle, who gives up the 7th fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs.  James will get a lot of touches, so if you are in a bye week pinch, you could consider him.  Otherwise, just keep him on your bench.  P.S. The time-table for Doug Martin’s return is super vague.  It’s anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months.  You know your team and if you have space on your roster to hold onto him.  We wouldn’t judge you either way.

Don’t play him at Seattle, but how many of you out there wish your QB had those numbers? Someone to watch.

Both Tampa Bay and Atlanta can’t quite get it right.  One of them has to win, but the real question is whether or not YOU can win your fantasy match up playing these players.

This week, we made some gut calls on Vincent Jackson, Doug Martin, Tim Wright, and Mike Glennon.

Doug Martin
#13 Ranked RB
Middling. We can’t continue to tell you he’s a “must start” when he can’t get into the end zone. If you saw the game against Philadelphia last week, you know that Martin is a workhorse. Martin averages 25.4 touches per game. He continues to work his booty off behind a bad offensive line, and then they throw the TDs. It’s frustrating. We feel like something has to give, but when?!?!
