Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

No one is an automatic Must Start at Seattle. Even Drew Brees.

Gut Calls

Rashard Mendenhall

#29 Ranked RB

You have to run against Seattle to have even the slightest chance of beating them. Seattle gives up the 5th fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs, but they give up the absolute fewest fantasy points to QBs and WRs. We keep saying it every week, but Coach Arians loves Mendenhall and he gets the majority of the work. He averaged 12.83 fantasy points over the last four weeks and that’s the 15th highest average out of all RBs in the league. He’s the least sexy pickup imaginable, but he’s getting it done.

Arizona Defense

#16 Ranked DEF

Seattle gives up the 7th fewest fantasy points to opposing DEFs, but Arizona seems to hold their own. They did only score 6.00 fantasy points the last time they played back in Week 7, but if that’s their floor you could do worse. Check out the waiver wire, but don’t run for the hills.

For Your Consideration: Andre Ellington (RB), Jay Feely (K)

Bench Warmers

Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd

#28 and #37 Ranked WR

Both of these players are listed as Questionable. Fitzgerald did not practice on Wednesday due to a concussion and Michael Floyd was limited in Wednesday’s practice due to an ankle injury. Seattle gives up the absolute fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs so sit both of them on the bench if you can.

Also Do Not Play: Carson Palmer (QB) #22, Rob Housler (TE) Not Ranked – doubtful with a groin injury
