Denver Broncos – Fantasy Forecast – Week 11
Kansas City Chiefs 9-0 at Denver Broncos 8-1
Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em
Peyton Manning
#6 Ranked QB
We get that the Broncos are going up against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs with a very hard defense, but you never bench your studs. Manning threw for 330 yards and 4 TDs and a FUM last week against San Diego. Kansas might give up the 7th fewest fantasy points to QBs, but they haven’t played Peyton Manning.
Knowshon Moreno
#10 Ranked RB
Moreno had 0 TDs last week, but he did rush for 65 yards and had 49 yards receiving. That still gives you 11.40 fantasy points without a look in the red zone. Kansas City is tough against the run and Moreno will have a harder time getting his usual yardage this week. We expect Moreno to get a 1-yard TD to make up for the loss of yards.
Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker
#8 Ranked WR and #10 Ranked WR
What a crazy group of WRs. Thomas had 108 yards and 3 TDs leaving Welker with only 21 yards. Last week was Welker’s worst game by far but don’t let that make you think about benching him. He had two games at 9 fantasy points but the rest of his games were in double digits. Thomas had a hard time getting away from defenders in a couple games and scored less than 6 fantasy points. Both players have huge upside with Manning throwing them the ball.
Julius Thomas
#3 Ranked TE
Julius might be Questionable but that didn’t stop him from getting 96 yards and a TD last week. There are only a few great TEs in the league and Julius is one of them. Kansas gives up the fewest fantasy points to TEs, but there are so many weapons on the Broncos offense it will be hard to stop Orange Julius.
Matt Prater
#3 Ranked K
We know the 4 points that Prater gave you last week was disappointing, but if the Broncos fall prey to Kansas City’s tough defense this could be a big game for Prater. And just remind yourself; at least you didn’t have Vinatieri.
Gut Calls
Eric Decker
#15 Ranked WR
We put Decker in gut calls simply because he had another huge drop last week against the Chargers. Everything is going to count against the Chiefs. Also, in three of the last four games, Decker scored 5.20 fantasy points or less. Manning does like Decker and he scored over 18 points in two games this season. You will probably start him, but don’t forget about his drops.
Bench Warmers
No one is on the bench this week. The motto for the Denver Broncos is that you never bench your studs. No one really knows how this division game is going to turn out but it’s a must watch.
