Week 16 Waiver Wire Adds Running Backs Edition

We partnered with RotoBaller to give you accurate and timely Week 16 waiver wire adds, running backs and more. In turn, they post our podcast to their site (which is centered around setting your weekly lineups). Enjoy! This article originally appeared on RotoBaller, our new partner. If you’re reading this article, then many of your fantasy football teams are heading into the fantasy football championships. Or maybe you are fighting for that 3rd place finish, or just not to come in last place. Either way, it’s never too late to improve your fantasy teams, especially with the running back injuries out there. I (Evan) am here to break down some waiver wire running backs who might be sleepers or viable starts for your fantasy football teams, players that can help you win your fantasy playoffs and get you to the promised land. The list isn’t as long as most weeks, but this is it folks. If you’ve gotten this far, then there probably isn’t much left for you to do with your teams. Let’s get started. Fantasy Football Running Backs (RB) – Week 16 Playoffs Joseph Randle / Lance Dunbar (RB, DAL) – 10% / 27% owned on Fleaflicker Well, this couldn’t have come at a worse time for DeMarco Murray fantasy owners.  Even with a broken bone in his hand and a mild surgery today, I’m still expecting him to play.  However, he’s not the quickest healer, as his injury history has shown, so Joseph Randle becomes the top priority add for any fantasy owner this week, regardless of whether you own Murray. The Cowboys play the Colts this week, who have struggled mightily at...

Week 14 – Dallas Cowboys Fantasy Forecast

Dallas Cowboys 8-4 at Chicago Bears 5-7   Play ‘Em If You Got ‘Em   DeMarco Murray – #1 Ranked Running Back Murray was held to his lowest rushing yards this season with only 73 yards on 20 attempts. No fear. When Philly held him rushing they just threw him the ball. He had six catches for 40 yards. Add a touchdown to those numbers and Murray finished his day with 17 fantasy points in standard leagues. That is a pretty good day for a Running Back that was a on a team that only scored 10 points. The Bears are ok against the run. Start Murray every week.   Tony Romo – #5 Ranked Quarterback Romo is listed as Probable this week against the Bears, but has been practicing in full. He was just awful last week against a weak Philly secondary. His numbers all season have been all over the board. Another week we are ranking him high because of the talent around him and the lack of talent on the other side of the ball. You would think this would be a shootout again this week but that is what we said about last week so…   Dez Bryant – #4 Ranked Wide Receiver Bryant was able to pull out 73 yards out of 4 receptions. It’s hard to catch the ball when they are dropping 5 feet in front of you. Rebound week for Dez against Chicago’s bad secondary. Must Start every week.   Dan Bailey – #2 Ranked Kicker Bailey is a top ten fantasy kicker. Last week was his lowest scoring game with...
